Nice Pub, original in the atmosphere and in the fun garden, quiet and pleasant surrounded by nature on the bank of the Thames. Suitable for weekend full English breakfast which by the way we greatly appreciated for the quality and cooking of the products, also for spending a sunny afternoon outdoors for an aperitif (not very satisfied with the dishes ordered especially the tasteless and dry pulled pork ), the staff behind the bar are helpful and welcoming.
To go back to try again
Decided on a whim to camp here mid week for two nights with my dog. What a great site!!
Right on the Thames the site has large plots, with some running right along the tow path.
Owners are really friendly and have a great shop with anything you may have forgotten.
Site also has teepees and shepherds huts.
Located right opposite is the pub which has a large garden and serves good food.
My only criticism would be while the facilities are simple which is fine, the showers are really small and only one hook for clothes and towel. It could do with an extra hook and a shelf to put your shampoo etc. Otherwise really clean and enough for the size of the site.
Travelling on way to a short stay in the Cotswolds, explored the area via Google & found Ye Olde Swan pub. Parked up & walked over a small stone bridge to it. Walked through the pub (one way in) & into the large garden (with an exit via the other side of the garden next to a wood fire pizza area). There's a BBQ area closer to the pub and an outside bar with lots of outside seating. With quite a few spots to sit near to the Thames and a covered area too. Find the menus there, grab a table number & go order from the BBQ area. It was nice and relaxing sitting by the water with a drink & some food. On the parking lot side there is a camping area which looked good. Paddle boards and kayaks for hire via the pub. Plus a bonus to see a longboat coming under and through the small stone bridge in view from the seating area outside 🥰
A lovely meal in beautiful surroundings by the canal. We had the snug - 5 adults, 2 children and a dog. Very comfortable for all of us. Food was excellent and prices reasonable. Ample room out back to walk a restless dog and distract children.
Had a fantastic weekend there for the Sausage and Cider festival. Music was brilliant. The campsite was beautiful. Very clean toilets and showers. Toilets always had loo roll lol. Great friendly atmosphere with no trouble whatsoever. Will be staying for a week next year!!! Just got back from Radfest 2023 and it was amazing! A free two day live music event with so many amazing bands! The atmosphere was beautiful and friendly. So many smiling people dancing and singing their hearts out along with the bands! No trouble at all. Lots of fur babies of every breed welcome and they were all so well behaved too! Campsite still top of the range, ( loo roll always stocked! Lol). Made a lot of new friends and can’t wait for next year. If camping book early as plots go fast!
Spent 3 days glamping here for Radfest and it was absolutely amazing. The pub is fantastic, have been there many times before. The festival atmosphere made the weekend even more special. Super friendly staff and lovely food cooked outside. Love this place 😀
Olde worlde pub. Great staff friendly atmosphere. We stumbled upon this gem whilst walking the Thames Path.
I highly recommend Ye Olde Swan.

Plenty of parking available for this great pub. Loads of outside tables, many under cover. Staff were helpful although service was a bit slow, this could be due to the weather as it was sunny and pub was very busy. Prices were reasonable. All in all a good experience.
Short and sweet - I simply cannot fault this wonderful pub, it commands a spectacular position next to the river and offers faultless service, top notch in fact. The food is, as expected, superb, the 'Swan Burger' is amazing, make sure you are hungry before trying!
There is plenty of parking available.
Enjoy!
Cracking spot. Right on the river. Local pub, pizza van and food available. Camping too
Fantastic pub by the river, and theirs also a campsite opposite. Theirs parking at pub which is free, but theirs also an overflow £5 but you get it back if spend £10? Lovely situation and really nice footpaths for walks. The pub has a large garden and a pizza hut during peak season.
Great campsite in wonderful location on an island with river either side
Good pitch size, enough toilets that were clean & never ran out of paper, cold water sink for washing up, shop/reception with enough stock for bits you forgot or need to top up on
Staff were all very helpful & friendly especially Andy who couldn’t do enough to help make our stay a great one
Pub has fabulous beer garden with lovely views, pretty good menu & great wood fired pizzas
All in all a great place to camp and will definitely be back
Lovely camp site, just across the river from this place. They have a good BBQ and pizza menu with an outdoor bar (due to return indoors by end Sep apparently). They have really thought about social distancing too.
Perfect place to sit and relax right by the Thames. Very easy to follow socially distanced seating bar and food stations are outside. Lovely friendly staff bringing food to you and collect your own drinks from the bar. Lots of seating we turned up at 2pm on a very hot busy Sunday and got a table straight away. I especially love the fact they use compostable ECo plates bowls and cutlery. The woodfired pizza is amazing!!!
A great place for an interlude in a riverside walk.
Great place with plenty of parking and a large sitting area by the river. Food is a bit overpriced and not great. Haven't tried the woodfired pizza though
Hired a day boat moored up for dinner and drinks with our family covid -19 regulations standards clean good food friendly service great river views we recommend this pub. 😎
