Reviews The Wild Kettle Cafe

The recommendations seemed positive and as I was close by I decided to go for coffee on this miserable day. As the customers appeared mostly of old females with crutches and sticks it was very noisy and quiet cramped. The staff were kept busy and I could tell that their jobs are quite demanding. The café was decorated in the obligatory style for the season but the toilet was out of order. There are outside seats and they were occupied in spite of the weather. The coffee was very good and very welcome. I found the noise emanating from the old women quite overwhelming so I didn't remain long.

Beautiful food. I had the minted lamb burger. It was cooked to perfection, tasty and tender. It came in a toasted bun with a stunning salad that had cubes of beetroot , cucumber, peppers, tomatoes, baby leaf and pomegranate seeds, served with a stunning creamy coleslaw and a sweet pickle. Well priced, as expected. Will definitely be dining again.

Lovely cafe very friendly and makes a great day out as it is in the grounds of a garden centre and other little businesses. The cafe has a nice menu and lots of cakes. It's very dog friendly and has inside and a good size outside area. Excellent facilities as well, very clean and everything is highly maintained. Disabled facilities are very good. Ample carparking and only a 15-minute walk from Bamford train station on the Hope Valley Line. Definitely would recommend it.

The perfect end to a relaxing hike. The fruit scone was fresh and delicious, and the coffee cake really hit the spot. The staff were friendly and welcoming giving the place a warm atmosphere

Called today while in the area and was so glad we did, we entered the car park and walked about 50ft from the disabled spaces and sat down inside. There were plenty of seating, inside & out to choose from and the menu is full of fresh local food to eat in or take out. It is dog friendly and you are spoilt for choice on what to have when looking at the menu. We decided on the minted lamb burger with fresh salad and home made coleslaw served on a sourdough bread bun, absolutely delicious and finished off with a lovely pot of tea. Very clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful, it was very busy while we were there but everything went to plan, would definitely visit again when in the area but my only gripe was the state of the car park with it's uneven surfaces and pot holes but I'm sure with the renovation going on, this will be sorted in the not too distant future.

Wow what a lovely Sunday morning treat! Travelled with a friend to visit the cafe in need of a hearty English breakfast and after hearing nothing but good things it’s safe to say we were not disappointed. Staff absolutely lovely and so rare to find staff who will willingly go above and beyond to help you. The food was incredible we really enjoyed our meals, 0 constrictive comments to make as I couldn’t have asked for better. These guys have really turned this little cafe around. So tastefully renovated, dog friendly and great value, so impressed

Hidden gem! Stumbled across this place after looking through local hotels for something to eat and finding them expensive, but the Wild Kettle Cafe was great value for money. Decent size portion, very tasty, fresh and creative. Friendly staff, not long to wait in spite of the café being fairly busy for a dull February afternoon. Would recommend and hope to come again.

Lovely friendly cafe with nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly however quite slow. I know it was busy but..... also cup had lipstick on although staff were more than happy to bring another cup.

Took a chance on stopping here for brunch on the way home from a weekend in Yorkshire. Glad we did. Excellent, attentive & very friendly service from the girls & great food, all at a reasonable price. We will definitely be back.

Lovely little Cafe and the food is beautiful and plentiful, staff always friendly, polite and helpful. The Sandwiches in particular are fantastic and they had no problem in making mine into a lovely Ham and Cheese Salad, as I don’t eat bread. It says a lot when we are prepared to travel a 42 mile round trip, just to have lunch here. Fantastic

Fabulous cakes and lovely hot coffee (not lukewarm like most places around). Beautiful sunny location in the garden centre.

Great little cafe with lovely coffee and home made cakes. The lady who runs the cafe is very pleasant and friendly as are the rest of the staff. My husband and I love the beautiful drive over to the cafe which is in an area with other small independent shops and garden centre. It's easily accessible, with tables inside and out and Customer toilet. I would highly recommend a visit

Not been to this little café within the grounds of the Garden Centre for a few years, back then it had a different name. We visited during a walk in The Peaks, after a phone call to make sure they were open, off we trotted from Hope. Great Service from all who was serving etc and the price for what we had was very reasonable. Don't Pass, Call in, you won't be disappointed 😃😃
