Food nicely presented, lovely ambience. Staff nice. Only reason not 5 stars is my teenage son had the gnocchi, very tasty, but felt his portion want large enough for a main.
Enjoyed a leisurely lunch ( only open daytime) Friendly and helpful staff.
Really nice, attractive set out inside. Service was excellent. The two women who served us were talkative, helpful and a good laugh. Food was nice and you can see the chefs cooking your food. Prices reasonable. Would have been 5 stars if my pizza was served with something else; chips or a side sa
Customer service matches the great pizza. The whole experience was a delight from entering the ample car park, building conversion is great, outside areas are good too. Staff point out that future projects are to include indoor dog friendly areas! Can't wait. Keep up the good service. I'll return
Great restaurant, our first time dining here last night and just annoyed we have not been before. Great menu with good choice of food to suit all tastes. What we had was delicious, Fish Stew in particular. Very friendly attentive staff and a lovely relaxed atomosphere. I am sure we will eat here reg
With more and more restaurants trying to squeeze 2 or even 3 seatings in per evening, it is refreshing to visit somewhere where time and care is taken. This can equate to a bit of a wait as all food is freshly prepared, but they are really clear about this... And it is definitely worth the wait! We
Area and setting is rural and calming. The building is beautiful and the free parking is clean, tidy and well lit. The entrance is clear and inviting and you can see right into kitchen on arrival which looked spotless. Seating area is light and airy with beautiful comfy high backed seats complete
Visited the Apple Core as we were spending the weekend in Bamburgh. The setting is fantastic, the staff are extremely friendly and the food is simply fantastic. We'd make this our local if we didn't live 200 miles away, although it would be well worth the 3 hours in the car. Absolutely top drawer.
Fine dining in an idyllic setting. The staff were lovely and the perfectionism of the chef delivered impeccable results. Kids menu (with colouring) available. Top of our price bracket, but perfect for a celebratory night out.
Loved it. Excellent "brunch", lovely staff, great building. Highly recommend. Wish we had gone before the day we were leaving Lucker.
Called for lunch and had 4 excellent meals served with fabulous staff. All the food is freshly prepared so don't expect in front of you in 5 minutes
Staying across the road in millstone cottage we decided to try the Apple Core. We had a nice meal there last night. Food was all good, however slightly disappointed by the Salmon gallette. Expected it to be a hot meal, but was made with cold Smoked Salmon. Maybe a slight change to the wording on the
We had a lovely meal here (family with children aged 3 and 7). Very friendly and efficient staff and good food in a relaxed atmosphere. I would strongly recommend.
Absolutely loved it ,food great service impeccable.Nice touch was the toilet facilities were immaculate but they were even cleaned before we left.unbeleivable when you visit even the Michelin starred restaurants the facilities always seem to be a last thought, but not here.First class and we'll done
Took my wife, son and sister in law here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Fantastic food and our server Jen was outstanding. We will be back.
This is my favourite eating place. Great service lovely location and best pizza and pasta ever. There is so much more on the menu and worth a visit.
