Excellent. The rooms are spacious, stylish and everything was spotless. They are in a separate building from the pub so perfectly quiet and private. Well set up with an outdoor area. The staff were very nice and made sure you were happy with everything. Cooked breakfast was good. Nice location with a view of the sunrise out to sea at the breakfast table

Beautiful location and the interior was well decorated. Extensive menu for food and drinks, with daily special. Best soup I’ve had at a restaurant. The steak was great quality, the chicken burger was also great. Staff friendly and price was good. Was a nice place to eat or just drink. Not sure why this place gets anything less than 4 stars. Plenty of parking, bar staff offering all the options

Initially we were a bit unsure. When we arrived we were sat in the corner next to a family of six when the restaurant was empty. This was a little weird. The food was pretty good, we visited here 7 years ago on our first date and remember the food being amazing. The food we got this time, on our first wedding anniversary was ok. The portion sizes were generous though, honesty can't fault that. Neither my wife nor I could finish the whole meal. My wife had a couple of cocktails, they were delicious she says. The service was excellent. We were served by a couple of young guys, both were friendly, attentive and had a bit of banter. Absolutely no hassles at all with the staff. We were pretty happy with our visit. No complaints. We would probably visit again.

Great value pub with rooms, well located for the coast & nearby seal beach. The room was nice, very spacious and comfortable, if a touch dated. Note that some rooms are in a bungalow next to the pub. Great value for money. Food in the pub in the evening excellent - great choices, daily specials and again good value. Breakfast was again excellent - loads of choice and all included in the price of the room. All the usual options plus a few more from full breakfast through to French toast. Dog friendly too!

I wish I could have ordered a roast Sunday lunch. I'm a veggie, but still love Yorkshire pudding, roast spuds, veg etc. These days, you can add veggie sausages, or similar. My dinner partner tucked into a meat Sunday roast and the only alternative for me, was a katsu curry, which was delicious, but not a roast!

Stopped here today on the motorbike for lunch and have to say I'm impressed. We had club sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious and large portions too. Care is paid to food presentation too. Staff was courteous and friendly and the decore is classy as hell. Very well looked established, everything was clean yet cosy. They are dog friendly and even have a dog menu! Love the polaroids of the doogo who have stayed there too, nice touch! We will definitely be back for more. 👌

Beautiful surroundings, dogs have there own little garden. Very secluded, the beach isn't far, but had work to get to if disabled access is differcult, so advise do not try as very difficult sand dunes my husband took the photo, as it was impossible for me to get to,

Nice restaurant, food was nice and staff were pleasant but they took my sons burger out to him and it was a bun only. They forgot to put the burger in the bun before serving it

We were here from Munich for some Sightseeing and Distillery Tours. It was a great Hub for our Trip! The Restaurant (for Breakfast as well as Dinner) was great (really liked the fish an chip's). Our Host was a super nice guy who was good for a laugh! The only real downside was that the ceiling in our Room (upstair room) was a bit low so if you are over 6 food you need to look out for your head sometimes. Bit it was fine after all and the whole experience definitely made up for it. Would recommend

Where to start! The staff were all young and so polite, well mannered, and good conversationalists. They were also very attentive in service. The food and drinks were in varried selection and delicious! The restaurant itself was cosy and had a lot of character as well as being so warm. The view was gorgeous also (once the fog cleared) we enjoyed fresh fluffy pancakes and a full English breakfast in the morning at a normal hour to eat, non of this 6am breakfast on a Sunday, 10am like a normal time. Our room, although we thought it would be a little building on its own, was one of three or four rooms based around a short corridor. The rooms were as advertised and beautiful, as well as a gorgeous bathroom. Only negative, we were scared to be too loud with conversation later at night as you could hear the neighbours in the hall so not terribly sound proof maybe? The location was close to civilisation however looked whilst being there like it was in the peaceful green beachy countryside of the North of Scotland, felt like I was miles and miles away from home. Not a bad thing to say about the whole experience, would love to go again!

Beautiful food and great choice I especially loved having dessert menu of dairy free options I could chose from. Sticky toffee pudding is something I've been denied for years. I so enjoyed it I had to stop myself from ordering a second helping.
