Went to Greys for first time last evening and we were pleasantly surprised by the kind staff and seating. Not many in when we arrived, but several parties and groups of people came in and created a good atmosphere.
I had chilli beef for starters and my wife had the beetroot salad and both delicious.
For mains we both had the roast beef with mash and baby roast potatoes accompanied by Yorkshire pudding filled with carrots and parsnips in a rich wine gravey. The beef was so tender and we'll cooked it almost melted in the mouth. A real splendid dish.
We don't normally have desert but for an extra £2 how could you turn it down. My wife had lemon meringue and I went for the ice cream accompanied with shortbread again very well presented and tasty. All washed down with a fine wine. I can't recommend Greys to highly a beautiful meal with very helpful attentive staff.10/10
Went in for breakfast with my wife and daughter. Were seen to very quickly, food was made fresh and place was spotless. Highly recommend
had a meal here last night the food was delicious I had the salt an chilli beef to start burger for main both were cooked to perfection will definitely be back the staff are all friendly and nothing is to much trouble for any of the staff

Always top notch food and friendly staff. What more could you ask for. I’ve never had a bad meal here yet. Can be busy but that’s never a bad sign! :)
Only tried it for an evening meal, but it was great. Food super tasty and lovely staff. Bet it's great during the day too.
Visited for 1st time on Sunday as a family of 4. Pleasant staff and surroundings with good service. Kids meals great value and the slow braised beef was exceptional. Definitely have to plan another visit.
Food was Great and the staff are 1st class.
Kudos to the Sunday morning team, absolutely tremendous service.
Would recommend.

Ordered 4 different meals by phone. They were tasty on time, individually boxed up. We found it easier just to cut off the lid and serve them that way. Excellent food. Great portions.
Called here on spec for lunch. Never heard of it but noticed it was award winning restaurant. I have a severe Wheat and egg allergy and they customised my meal to suit me. Really enjoyed my meal which was very tasty and well presented. We were pleasantly surprised when we got the bill as it was very reasonable. We will certainly go back
