Just spent the day on the bread making course which was brilliant. Dara was very passionate about his skill which was a great motivator. We made Sourdough, Rye & Focaccia had a fab lunch and lots of sweetie treats not to mention loads of fun. For anyone contemplating the course I would highly recommend it, you’ll never eat supermarket bread again!

Wonderful coffee and buns, and incredible breads. The sourdough bread made the best and most wonderfully flavoursome bacon sandwich I've ever had :)

Cant stop thinking about my lunch today, both the toasted rye and the aubergine bowl were amazing, both of us had never tasted cucumber like it! I'm back in Belfast and after a cracking weekend with the sun this was a true highlight to round it up! Will be back soon, but will first attempt to recreate it at home! Cheers again

Called in today for a loaf of Sourdough and it surpassed my expectations in every way. Downstairs is fantastic where you can see the bread being baked but I was to late unfortunately. The Sourdough tasted delicious with lashings of butter. I highly recommend the bread and the bakery which is made more enjoyable by the friendly staff. I look forward to the Sourdough classes in the Autumn.

The vegan options are appreciated and so good! The soup was so so good especially on a rainy day and the sourdough bread is amazing as I'm sure they know! Also love the vibe and feel of this place!

Clearly driven by a genuine passion for real bread, complimented by high quality coffee, pastries, cheese and pickles, Ursa Minor is perfect example of how to run a great cafe.

Delicious pastries and a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We got the regular and chocolate croissants which were light, flaky, and crispy. The chocolate one was mostly plain, as in maybe 25% of bites had chocolate due to how it rose. But the rest was so buttery and tasty it wasn't sorely missed.

At Lammas Fair so just had to pop in for a loaf ..... and tempted by the Cinnamon swirl ..... it was the best cinnamon swirl I ever had and it was huge. The loaf pure lethal too💗. Shop was very busy as the Fair was on but the service was 100%.

If you love breads and pastries, this is a must visit. The food is utterly scrumptious, its no surprise there is alot of other cafe/coffee shops advertising they are using Ursa Minor Breads. Sourdough, croissants, cinnamon swirls etc etc all excellent.

Absolutely fantastic focaccia sandwich with an unusual combination of fillings! Also the mini quiche was fantastic. All so tasty. Lovely shop- wish I could have spent longer sampling all the different options! Plenty of vegetarian things on the menu.

Coffee was great, no complaints there. Service was OK, nothing special, they took our order and got us what we ordered, but nothing engaging or friendly like we have found all over Ireland. Pastries were a bit of a let down, croissant was unfortunately burned, but it seemed that if not for that it would have been great. One less than ideal oddity was that there were wasps in their pastry cabinet.

Good staff and products. Good coffee. Nice social seating area. Artwork a bit dark but doesn't take away from the nice atmosphere. Have to make your own toast🤣

Full disclosure - possibly a tincy bit biased as family member works here… but I popped in two days in a row after months of not getting to visit and it was lovely to be reminded of what a fab place this is. Bumped into friends both days, enjoyed dreamy delicious baked treats the likes of which you could never hope to recreate at home and generally left feeling nourished and nurtured. It can’t be easy to run a business like this but this is a very special place and your hard work is appreciated.

The best focaccia we've ever tasted (and we've tasted a lot!) aswell as amazing sourdough bread. In fact everything we ate from here was delicious and there were great deli items available aswell as their own freshly baked goods. Friendly staff and a homely ambience in the seating area at the rear (loved the DIY toaster, jam and marmalade!)

I visited the Ursa Minor to get some decent bread for breakfast, hoping to get some more or less okay quality (I am very picky when it comes to bread). I must say that my expectations were more than exceeded! The bread (country loaf) was absolutely delicious, fluffy, full of flavour. As the place is very nice and welcoming with friendly and enthusiastic staff I couldn’t resist buying a wee strawberry/vanilla and a blueberry/vanilla pastry as well - and again it was fantastic. The only sad thing to say about Ursa Minor was the fact that they were not open on a Monday when we wanted to buy more bread and pastries before leaving Ballycastle :-)
