Here are our thoughts on our Sunday visit ..The 13 year old described her candy floss cloud Sundae as being reminiscent of "pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows ." The guys loved soft drinks from proper glass bottles .The chocolate brownie Sundae was full of delicious brownie pieces all the way to the bottom and "fussy kid" who requested his own customised chocolate chunk and icecream combination estimated there must have been two choccy bars in there ! I have never before thought to have icecream on the side of a pineapple delight traybake and it was awesome ... And the costumer service is excellent .
Love this wee place, desserts r to die for, staff are so friendly, happy and welcoming.. would definitely highly recommend to everyone!! ��
Service is amazing staff are so friendly! We had the cloud cones, tea, coffee, caramel square lemon meringue and 2 swirly lollies and everything was perfect all home made and delicious � my kids loved the ice cream van that came around the caravan site too thank you so much Mr Special/ Harry can't wait to come back to Ballycastle to visit your shop again!
Omg the nicest ice cream i have ever had lovely staff we drive from donegal at least once a month to have the desserts in here well worth the drive..

We were passing through on a drive along the coast road and were really happy we came into your lovely shop. Leona was just amazing and made us feel really welcome. You now have fans in Canada and will recommend you to anyone visiting the north of Ireland in the future.
Fantastic wee place and brilliant service, they even have baby wipes for the young kids. Fab idea!! The disco lights was a bit hit with my 2 year old daugther. Will definitely be back !
Great selection of beautiful coffee, cakes, ice-cream & treats. Very reasonably priced and staff are so friendly. Keith is so good with the wee ones. A must visit when in Ballycastle �����

Amazing menu choices I was again (my second visit in 6 months) impressed with the friendliness of staff the cleanliness of the establishment and the wide range of items on offer both my husband and myself ordered ice cream sundae and milkshake extremely impressed will definitely be back x

Delicious desserts but best of all truly friendly and nice staff. They are patient whilst you deliberate what to choose. On my visit they went out of their way to cheer up my small child who was upset (nothing to do with them!).
One improvement would be labelling the desserts in the fridge with a price as they weren't on my visit. Minor quibble though

Loved it. The service was so friendly & helpful! The deserts were good too. Didn't try the coffee, but they have a good selection on the menu. Great place to head after fish & chips at Morton's.
Friendly staff. Great americano and cappucino. The treats are tasty and the ice cream sundaes are worth the stop. Plus its neatly decorated and clean as an actual whistle. And right on the waterfront. Perfect location. Well worth a stop if Your wandering through Ballycastle.

What's more perfect than a walk on the beach,mini golf and a beautiful sunny day,ice cream, coffee and cake obviously..and The Dessert Bar in Ballycastle is just the spot for this,I've been here a few times and tried a few different items and have never been disappointed, absolutely fantastic selection of milkshakes, cookies,cakes, coffees and of course ice cream.. they also sell a very nice gluten-free 99 poke which I've also tried and it was lovely,and the staff are always polite and courteous any time I've been, give it a go if you're in the area.
Beautiful coffee lovely staff cakes are gorgeous .coffee was a little slow coming so they gave us a freshly baked cookie we hadn't complained or weren't going to they just kindly volunteered great place
Lovely ice cream bar with very cool decor. Kids size ice creams and amazing presentation. Definitely a little gem to find!! Very friendly helpful service too ... and even thoughtful enough to consider the needs of all kids and adults ... fabulous
First class ice-cream, the best I've tasted in a long time. Huge range of desserts available and the beach hut theme inside looks awesome. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely one of the best ice cream bars on the North coast. It's like walking back to the 50s ice cream bar. They have it all. Icecream to hot brownie. Milkshake to coffee.. and all the rest. The owner 'Mr happy' as my little girl calls him. He as always got a smile on his face. He always goes the extra mile to make everybody smile before they leave. The staff are friendly. The place is clean and the ice cream are to die for..
