Second time here after visiting fish shop round corner. Service was excellent. With a chat and smiles. Food, Fish supper was probably the best from Balloch to Glasgow and beyond. Came in here a week or so ago, great fish and chips! Really enjoyed! Lovely staff as well, and lots of people in the shop waiting for their suppers and they were all friendly and chatty. Nice experience :)

Sorry bout the terrible pictures but this was a rainy day. This place is opposite the train station at Balloch at the foot of loch Lomond.
We always choose this place and we are never disappointed. There is a wide selection of items on the menu and prices are normal and not over inflated.

One of the best chip shops in Scotland that I have tried, had there sausage supper and my partner had there fish supper. The batter is super crispy and full of flavor. Highly recommend

After years of going to Balloch during the day as a Tour Guide we stayed over. I knew Mum and Dad who owned this for years and they will be pleased to see it is being looked after. We reckon it was the best Fish and Chips ever, the batter is not all big and fluffy, it's crisp and has a Taste to it b
Thoroughly enjoyed my burger and chips, followed by the famous deep fried mars-bar and ice cream. Would definitely go there again if I were ever in the area.
Sometimes you need to wait 10 minutes if something is needing cooked but is that bad? You know it is fresh then.
They make the best fish in the area, if you like big flakes of fish in a crispy batter and not a soggy limo batter.
On our hols, this chippy was recommended by our landlady and we were not disappointed. Two fish suppers were very nice and tasty, also half the price We would pay at home. Well done.
