Great affordable menu for all the family, staff were friendly and looked after us well, in for lunch with an 11 year old and 5 year old who tried there best to eat huge portions of cake �
Live locally and visit often with our 2 kids. Staff are always friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere whatever time or day we go, food is good and menu changes frequently. Great value for money and in nice weather the garden is great. Dogs welcome too which is a bonus. The place we go to most in the area.
Stopped off here for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. We both had a classic Scottish breakfast, which was absolutely fine. When you buy a cooked breakfast, it also includes Cereal, toast, tea/coffee, croissants etc... all help yourself. This really makes this amazing value. £17.50 for 2!! Thoroughly recommend.
Great place to grab a pint and a hearty meal after a long hike around the lake and the castle. The curries are quite delicious, the fish and chips are sexy as heck, and the prices are right. There’s also a handsome buffet which we did not take part of but kept staring at. Lots of comfy seating. Dog friendly area AND MENU available which a) is awesome and b) is like the 3456th reason I need to get a dog. So I can literally take him out to dinner!!
I visited Queen of the loch this evening with my wife, we both had the carvery. We enjoy eating out and have visited this establishment many times in the past.
On this particular occasion the experience was so good I felt I had to approach the manager when we were leaving to inform her of the fact we had such a good meal and customer service from the chef that it had be commended and brought to her attention. I also had the opportunity to tell the chef in person before we left.
I am glad to have had this opportunity to inform yourselves of my experience tonight and look forward to returning.

Arrived early for the booking but they were able to accommodate.
Ordering process easy and quick.
Started arrived but missing sauce and had to ask at the bar.
Was advised at ordering that would be told when the main course was almost ready to allow party members to get carvery so we could eat together. This was missed so one meme we of the party was left eating alone and the other had to go for carvery. Pretty much a meal together was spent eating separate.
Meal was nice and worth the money.
Overall would recommend but should make more of an effort with carvery and regular meals so people can eat together.
We stopped here primarily to charge our electric car, but had a light lunch too. The food was as expected (standard pub chain stuff) but the service was very good and very quick. We discovered, when over 120 miles to the south, that I'd lost my wallet. A quick phone call, and one of management team had located it in the car park and arranged to return it to us. We were very impressed, hence the five star review.
Staff was bit arrogant. They(only one staff) made us in big tension for ordering not at all customer friendly. No value for customers specially to Asians. Food was fine 👍👍👍👍
Lovely little pub with friendly staff. Food was lovely and served with a smile. If you visit Balloch, this is a must visit. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.
Overall we had a good experience. It was easy and quick to order via the app and we enjoyed our food and drinks. Dogs are allowed in the bar area but I'd recommend some of the high tables and chairs are changed to regular as they don't work well for people with dogs. Our dog was too far away from us which made it difficult to settle him so we moved outside instead.

Originally booked for 9 people and a dog which changed to 7 at half 4 this evening. The change in numbers wasn't an issue at all. Was sat inside the building but near a door to access easier for the dog in case he needed to go outside. All staff acknowledged us arriving and ask how we were with our day.
The staff were very compensating on a dish that my son with additional needs wanted and was more than happy to separate his nachos and everything else that comes with it. The carvery was absolutely fantastic. A great selection available as well and all items were fresh and hot.
The staff were attentive with checking everything was okay and clearing the table quickly.
Desserts arrived quickly and very tasty. The selection of cakes available in the fridge was large and the cakes were a large size too.
It's the first time in a very long time where I have felt relaxed and at ease having a family meal outside of my house.
I will definitely be back again soon.

Stayed in the accommodation for one night with work. The hotel room is very standard so comfortable and clean without any character. The bed was super comfortable and the place was quiet.
I had an awful drive to the hotel and was a bit flustered in arrival. The person who checked me in was lovely, friendly and funny, making me feel welcome and relaxed. The staff were the biggest plus for me as the person who checked me out the next day was also friendly.
I didn't eat during my visit so cannot comment on food!
Actually came to stay over in the adjacent "hotel". Reception is in the pub, the pub staff have to manage this reception, the bar, seating guests, taking food orders, clearing tables etc. The evening rota had 2 members of staff. When we were there people had to wait a long time to check in. I thought the bar, restaurant etc was short staffed when serving evening meals but apparently this had been deliberate on the rota. Not a good impression for the European visitors with children waiting to check in. The evening meals were OK for the price. The morning wait staff member was great, she was efficient & cheerful. A good breakfast was served quickly. The room had the bare minimum of furniture, one night is plenty in the hotel.
Great service and friendly welcoming staff. Tried ordering from QR code on table for desserts & extra drinks and they came prompt and with a friendly smile. Ordered at bar too and staff were great and although it was very busy, the food came in good time and it was hot and delicious. Took the dog too and everyone had a great time! Will gladly return as it was great value too!
There was a good welcome, and our table for 7 was ready. The duty manager had good rapport, and the a-la-carte delivery and coordination of the carvery meals was excellent. The quality and quantity of food provided was very acceptable. The room temperature was good, and the restaurant and washrooms were clean
Very helpful and friendly staff on arrival, room was clean and tidy. Evening meal was very nice. Only thing stopping a higher score was the breakfast service, only one of the three orders were correct and then was told it was us that ordered wrong! Overall a very pleasant stay.

Amazing booked a table for 1.45 Sunday carvery the reception was friendly pub very clean. Staff very good. The server on the carvery was very polite. And the food amazing beef perfectly cooked. Will definitely visit when back in the area
