Just popped in for a coffee and was welcomed with a happy member of staff with an actual smile. A few people around the bar who were obviously regulars. Nice to hear a light tone of conversation without the use of bad language. I felt very comfortable and would have stayed longer, had i not needed to catch a train. Coffee wasn't too bad either.

Went here for a private function. Reception desk manned by a helpful member of staff. Hall was a good size for the party. Bar was reasonably priced and staff attentive . Looked a bit tired and dated. Not sure I would visit this bar if it wasn't for the party.

The Dorrills

A large group of us stayed here whilst attending my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. Our room was lovely, very clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. At breakfast, nothing was too much trouble and they did their best to accommodate all our requests. I cannot praise them enough.
