It’s low season the the restaurant would normally have been closed. However when we rang to book a table, the owner offered to open the restaurant for us! Whilst there the staff/owner were really friendly and helpful and the food was beautiful. If we come back to Bala, we will definitely return here and I am happy to recommend it.
What amazing service nothing too much trouble. Had a lovely lunch of pizza, salad and dough balls. Left behind a really important notebook. Called the restaurant and explained it's importance. The owner rushed out straight away to the post office and sent it back special delivery. It arrived this morning. Thank you so much.

Arrived in the area for a few days having a wonder though the little village looking for somewhere to eat saw this little pizza place. Greater by a young lad who showed us to our table and asked if we'd like anything to drink, took our food order where we waited about 15 mins for our food which came fresh and hot. Food was delicious and the cheesy garlic bread was to die for .

Really good experience:
One of the few places open late enough in the evening when we arrived in Bala. Staff were funny and extremely friendly and happy to accommodate us. Yes it's not inventive sneerless Heston Blumenthal style cuisine pined for by the metropolitan liberal elite who expect fresh burrata on every pizza and crushed himalayan salt. However it was good honest value, it filled us up, gave us a damn good loading of carb goodness and service was attentive, honest and with a smile. Cannot fault that at all.
So what if they take cash only? Maybe not everyone wants to sign up to a payment system where they get a tithing of their well earned dough taken just for the sake of some cashless ponce's convenience?
Starter of cheesy garlic bread, a well portioned opener drizzled liberally with olive oil and nice flavoursome grated cheese on a well oven'd doughy base.
Mains we had the pizza, the american hot did not disappoint, sparse in appearance but full of flavour. The four seasons also did well, with a generous topping of each item on the pizza, and the mushrooms were done to perfection. Roasted just enough to take the rawness off the mushroom but not enough to shrivel the mushrooms up like the back of an octogenarian's hand.
All in all, good honest food at a fair value price. Drinks were cheap and all served in a timely manner. Owner was a lovely chap who's trying to sell the slightly out of tune piano too.
Been working in Bala for the last 6 months, lots of brilliant places to eat around here, but this is my favourite. Food is absolutely beautiful and staff polite and engaging.
Lovely staff, food was decent and wait times were good too. Atmosphere was good but it's a shame piano was in poor condition although I appreciated that they let me have a go.
Came here with my family and wasn’t disappointed. The staff are all amazing and friendly, the food was amazing and I would eat there everyday if I could. Definitely recommend to my friends and family, and if you are in Y Bala definitely stop by and grab a pizza.
The spaghetti Bolognese is delicious, the best I have ever had
Nice comfortable surroundings, greeted immediately and offered a choice of seating locations, had dough balls and garlic bread starters, which were freshly cooked and delicious. I followed with spaghetti bolognese which was a good size portion and one of the best I have had in a long time, she had the chicken tagliatelle which was described by her as perfect with al dente pasta and a rich peppery sauce. With 2 well kept pints of peroni A great little restaurant. And all for £50

Magnificent Pizza. I’ve eaten pizza in Italy and the food here is authentic, freshly prepared and utterly delicious. We came on December 10th for our anniversary and are so glad we did. Charming, attentive staff and a very chic warm and welcoming ambience. We will definitely return and most highly recommended.
One of the nicest pizzas we have ever had. Pizza was delicious - as was the lasagne. Laid back service- lovely chat nice atmosphere. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
I came to this restaurant on my visit to North Wales with 7 other friends. Not one person could say a bad word about this restaurant.

We eat here every time we stay in my parents caravan! Staff are always friendly in particular the owner. food is always beautiful and we will carry on returning!
