Fabulous little cafe. Wonderful warm welcome and beautiful food. We had a gorgeous warm homemade cake with cream and a Turkish coffee with real Turkish delight. Can not recommend enough. Worth every one of the five stars!

Great (hidden) location, nice atmosphere with good range of food. Manager/owner was really friendly, we even got a complimentary Turkish coffee. Excellent meatballs and the (non-alcoholic) mojito were highlights. Lot of negative comments on here, which is at odds with our experience. It's different and quirky (which has pros and cons) maybe people are just looking for a Starbucks-clone experience...?

Stopped off heading up North on our motorbikes. Super hearty food, good portions and prices. The owner is a gem, very charming and friendly. At the end of our meal, he offered us proper Turkish coffee….best coffee I’ve ever tasted! Definitely recommend!

Loved the food. As gluten-free vegans, we were easily catered for by very a friendly and efficient team. We both liked the music - it was smooth rather than the jarring music so often experienced. Will definitely dine there again - and the cakes looked delicious!

We only had drinks, but sitting outside in the lovely garden setting, with grapevines etc, was very pleasant. It is away from traffic and off the beaten track. The owner seemed very pleasant and there was an extensive menu. We would definitely go there again for food

We visited coronation weekend, we had lovely food, friendly service and the dogs were allowed in which was great as it was raining. The dogs even got a treat which pleased them. The Turkish coffee was a lovely surprise and very tasty. Next time we visit the Peak District we’ll be sure to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Although busy and took over 30 minutes to get main meal and a bit long to get hot drinks drinks, the food was really tasty and fresh and great portions. Five stars as the dogs could be inside the cafe, which for March weather being like April showers was really good to be out of the weather even though it was dry out, rain showers previous. I had a vegan option of Mediterranean veggies with falafel on jacket potato was very flavourful and a really good Sized vegan portion. The Egyptian mint tea was really nice. Complements to the chef who was very busy and under staffed.
