What an incredible meal at Lovage. We had the tasting menu. Each course was a perfect size, a balance of flavor, texture and color. My favorites were the Beetroot and the pumpkin dessert. We enjoyed the ambience and the service. Even on a stormy, flooded night, it was worth the trip.
One of the best meals we had in the UK. Beef tartare is a must, but you won’t be disappointed by any of the dishes!
We enjoyed a fabulous tasting menu dinner on our trip to Derbyshire. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our food was wonderful, each course complementing the others. It was exactly the right amount so we left feeling perfect. Many thanks to the chef and serving staff for a memorab
Excellent food and service at this small restaurant. It’s definitely worth a try and I would certainly go again. The only thing I would like to see them do is to offer homemade breads and as often as people want them (as most Michelin restaurants do). And perhaps remove the bread with a spread from
A wonderful evening experiencing exquisite food, excellent service in very pleasant surroundings.
Incredible experience at Lovage last night and the tasting menu is not the one to be missed. We started with the freshly baked granary bread with marmite butter and the crispy shell. They were both out of this world. The highlight of the day was the Bloody Mary sorbet that came with the tomatoes and
Absolutely delicious food and good value for what it was. The only downside was I thought it was a bit on the light side however it meant I did have room for the cheese course which normally I don’t 😀 Service was really lovely. Atmosphere was relaxed but maybe slightly flat. Really liked how there
I’ve never tasted food as good as this. The service is faultless and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The wine list and the wine flight are very unique. You’ll always find something you like on there but with a twist, from Moldovan wine to mead from Monyash! The dishes Lee has created are so
A stunning culinary experience is all I can say. Food was stunning from start to finish as you'd expect. Staff were adept in their skills and descriptions. There was nothing to detract from a fantastic evening. Visit, you have nothing to lose.
The tasting menu is a must. The Bloody Mary sorbet was bursting with flavour. The theatre of serving with a narrative of every dish added to the experience. Beautifully presented and an experience in taste and texture in rustic surroundings.
