Stopped by for a coffee and cake, much bigger than you think inside, nicely decorated and the staff were friendly. The coffee was weak however good for me, the cake was amazing loved it, despite someone looking like someone took a bite out of it. Was pleasantly surprised to be honest how good it was.
Have had a couple of meals here. The gluten free pizza is AMAZING! Such care is taken by the staff and so fab that they are dog friendly too! 😊
Great food, fresh stone baked pizza, early evening after a hike to Chatsworth and back on a hot day. Choice of outdoor seating in sunny court yard frontage, spotlessly clean and welcoming.
Dined here 2 times over the holiday stay in Bakewell and each time the portions were amazing and the staff were so welcoming. Each time our group was quite large and they managed every time. 10/10
We were looking for somewhere to eat and looked at other places then found H very welcoming g and polite staff sorted out a table for 4, no issue with the service, the food we ordered it was hot and tasty, drinks were as ordered. For the cost it was no more than anywhere else, will go back again, I cannot speak for the bad reviews but my experience of H was great, thanks all at H
Having been refused service elsewhere by a rude owner we walked into this place to a really warm welcome. We chose a seat and made our choice. We had 2 of the best cappucinos we have ever had. Piping hot and really tasty. We chose a piece of Bakewell cake, well when in Bakewell.... The slice was fresh and really big, tasty and economically priced. We loved the place. Whilst we were there another 9 people came in all having a drink and cake and all were saying how good it was. 4 of them were also chastised in the previous cafe we had all tried and whilst this place was modern staff were great and the quality superb.
Been here twice for brunch now and found it very relaxed and pleasant, they only serve breakfast till 11.30 but we got in at 11.40 and after asking the kitchen they said they would do us our poached and scrambled eggs after the curfew was imposed lol.
Why in this country eggs cannot be poached after a set time in the morning and the lunch service has started is beyond me !!
Anyway no complaints here...food great, service quick and smiley...only complaint was that coffee Americano's could have been stronger..most coffee joints tend to err on the watery side...if its made strong water can always be added.
We didn't complain as the brunch was so nice and they had stretched the brunch hours for us...so we'll done and we'll definately be back.

Been here everytime i am in Bakewell, awesome place to be, staff are very friendly and the meals are very nice. I reccommend stone cooked pizza that they sell! Everything is reasonably priced and it was an all round great experience.

Visited The H bar and restaurant a couple of times and always had an excellent experience the food is lovely and the service is great. Fab friendly staff and always feel very welcome with my small children. highly recommended.

Nice restaurant, We brought ourkids and I think it was a bit grown up for them sat inside, however the food was nice but a bit expensive.
Very clean and tidy establishment with polite staff. Served much better coffee than some other establishments in Bakewell.
