Absolutely fantastic setting for a large group (Manifold farmhouse and barns). The service from Peak Venues was incredible and everything made very easy. The venue was spotless and all the staff we dealt with very friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault the booking and checking in process and information available. By far the best accommodation provider I've used. Our whole family loved The Farmhouse. The catering company that was recommended (Zest4Events) were also brilliant. Lovely weekend staying at cruck’d barn. Perfect for two families of four - amazing large dining table and area for relaxing, great views and walks from the house and easy walk to super pub. Electric vehicle charging was also very handy. We would love to return!
Lapwing Barns was an absolutely perfect location for a 60th family gathering. Place was in great central location with stunning views of the green countryside and hills. Recommended some pubs nearby which accommodated our large group excellently. Accommodation was clean with plenty of indoor and outside space with a full quota of all we needed to drink & cook and a games room a bonus to exercise a little! Many thanks
The Edge is a beautiful cottage, It was spotless throughout and the front garden was lovely. I loved the summerhouse and the table and chairs provided so we could sit out in the late afternoon sunshine and enjoy an ice cold G and T! Marita is a good host, you can tell she cares for her property. Thank you for a lovely week
We recently stayed at Redhurst Barn in Wetton. It was a beautiful property. Decorated and furnished to a very high standard. We didn't want to leave!

What a wonderful stay at Redhurst barn in Wetton! The house was amazing, so clean, maintained and very well equipped. There were 13 of our family celebrating special birthdays, we varied in ages from 70 to 2 year old.
Redhurst Barn did not disappoint at all. Lots of space inside and out and in such a lovely location. The whole family enjoyed every minute. Definitely use Peak Venues again.

We stayed at Holly Bush Farm with a full complement of nearly 50 guests for a weekend anniversary party. The layout and facilities are excellent. Young adult guests appreciated the games room, whilst others enjoyed the quiet of the farmhouse lounge. There is loads of parking for big numbers of guests. The Barn is a brilliant party space. We had caterers ( Citreous Catering) in, and the big kitchen was ideal for them. Plenty of fridge space for all our wine too! Although the road is close, the property is gated and walled so safe for younger children to play outside, and we didn’t notice any noise. There are a couple of local walks you can do from the property to an old mine. We had a coach take our party to Chatsworth which is stunning, and on Sunday we went to the Olde Gate Inn at Brassington. Some guests drove, and others walked via the long distance way. If you need a big space for a good knees up, this fits the bill.
We had a fantastic writing retreat at The Grange. The views were lovely and the space was clean and well resourced. We appreciated the added extras like pub recommendations.
Really lovely house (Hillcroft) for a family celebration. The view from the kitchen is spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed walking in the local area and the teens enjoyed a visit to Alton Towers. Accommodated multi generational family easily with plenty of space and even quiet corners on a wet day.
30 of us stayed at Lapwing Barns for a hen do. Amazing place with plenty of room for all the guests. Outside area is beautiful with stunning views. We were lucky have good weather on our arrival day so we could have arrival drinks outside. Real gem is The Cowshed which allows you to have activities away from the main house. The weather was awful on the Saturday and sunday we were there but this is a huge space with pool table, table tennis and fusbal table. It has its own kitchen and toilets. We spent alot of time in here. Plenty of parking on site. Everyone raved about how good it was. Highly recommend
Great location and nice property for big family holidays. Rather let down by a lack of comfortable outside seating - there were only picnic style tables - some outdoor loungers/chairs would have improved the experience, together with some form of sunscreening. Great bedrooms and bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen - again let down by badly scrapped crockery. From a personal point of view, the only comfortable place to sit was the lounge, a settee/ comfortable armchair would have been a good idea in the kitchen, especially as there was a tv. Overall, good location for a large family/group holiday, just needs some improvements for comfort

We had a lovely week in Hugh Cortage,. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. The walking was great and everyone locally were super friendly.

Brilliant accomodation for a large group. Great communication with owner, spacious, and clean. 45 min walk into Bakewell or 10 mins in the car. Highly recommend!
We have just had a lovely weekend at the green man near leek. Every year we go on a large family holiday there is 32 of us adults, kids and dogs. The green man had catered for everything, it had a fully equipped kitchen including kids bowls/plates etc, two dishwashers, washing machine, two fridges, loads of work space.
Lovely garden and outside seating. (The only thing I would suggest they change was the drum bbq as it's falling apart)
This property is not short of space, rooms are all decent sizes and the property is fully enclosed so no need to worry about kids and dogs!
The whole place was clean and tidy when we arrived.
Louise was on hand for any questions and very helpful.
Everyone in the group said this was the best accommodation by far from all the trips we have been on! We will definitely be booking with peak venues again!

We've just recently stayed in the Holly Bank house and everything was outstanding! From the booking process to accommodation - it was more than we imagined. They thought of everything that we would need as a family of 10. The kitchen was fully kitted out from extra kettles to large casserole dishes and slow cookers. The size of the rooms and facilities were fantastic! It was home from home. The communication from the company was first class at every point. They have thought of everything question you would need to ask and had it ready in the handover package to make our holiday seamless and let us carry on with what is important - making memories. We'll definitely be back!
Really positive experience with Peak Venues staying at Rose Cottage over Christmas. Booked last minute, and was told another property with Peak Venues was unavailable, and Rose Cottage was offered at the original (lower) price. Constant, helpful and friendly communication. Clean property exactly as described, with a lovely Christmas hamper and chocolates.
Had an amazing time in Peak District on a family holiday. Peak venues team is amazing and very helpful. Highly recommend them.
