Nice and friendly atmosphere especially loved the cow bell ringing to have your order taken. Best Currywurst I've had since leaving the continent, definitely worth a stop.

Absolutely fantastic! This is a real gem of a place. It's authentic Austria in the middle of Bakewell! Definitely try the Apfel Strudel - you won't taste anything like it outside of Austria. Can't wait to return and hope to see home made Kaiser Schmarn on the menu next time ďż˝

Delicious sausages. Bratwurst was ein Meisterwerk. The place has great atmosphere and a very friendly staff. There is interesting interior with a collection of cuckoo clocks. They also serve Bakewell pudding and good coffee there.

A gem of a place we stumbles across by sheer luck with some amazing choices of sausage which were to die for. Some may say a little pricey, but I disagree as these are not off the shelf sausage sandwich options so are worth every penny! Excellent and friendly service which has guaranteed we will return again.

It’s like being in a cafe on holiday in Austria. Authentic and wide-ranging sausages (and lots of other food too) with a vast selection of tea and coffee. Will come here again when we visit.

Snap lunchtime decision with dogs in tow saw us dive into the cramped courtyard that makes up the sit-in dining area of the store. We struggled to get our pushchair in but or dogs helped by barking loudly and tying themselves up on their leads. (Sorry everyone else). Food service was really quick, lots of sausage options but I won’t be taking my vegetarian friends as their choices for the meat free among us, were there, but limited…..although why you’d be visiting a sausage importer for lunch if you were a vegetarian may be a pertinent question, so maybe that’s not too much of an issue. I opted for the knockwurst and it was the biggest sausage in a bun I’ve ever eaten. Super tasty though but I feel like my kids probably need therapy now having seen me unhinge my jaw to make it fit but it was worth it. It was essentially a hot dog though and I’d argue it’s difficult to get hot dogs wrong really, but therein lies the rub, it was quite an expensive hot dog for what you get, especially knowing one can get the equivalent for £1.50 in a well known wholesale megastore but then again, until they move into Bakewell, I reckon Tiroler Stuberl probably has the market cornered. Kids ate almost everything which always a good sign so will likely be visiting again but must point out that it’s going to be tricky for anyone with a physical disability. Space is super tight for wheelchairs and the toilet is not really disabled friendly at all which is a bit of a shame, so fair warning. Would love to see take out be an option as it’s definitely the kind of thing you could eat on the go and am looking forward to letting my work colleagues know I visited a sausage importer for the first time ever over the weekend.

We had delicious, very authentic bratwurst. Sunny courtyard. Dogs welcome. A little expensive but Bakewell is a tourist hotspot.

Certainly a different kind of place to find in Bakewell. Small courtyard garden. We had a Kaesekrainer Currywurst with a bun and a traditional Bakewell Pudding with Vanilla Icecream. It was very nice. I like this kind of sausages. The owner told me her husband originates from Tirol. Very friendly service and dog friendly too. I absolutely loved the little Flower Bee Garden. I sat right next to it and the Bees were very busy.

Nice courtyard! We had an earl grey tea which arrived in a hippo tea-pot, which was amazing, a cafe Vienna - coffee topped with cream which was delicious. Our daughter had a frankfurter in a bun which she loved.

Delightful courtyard cafe that is dog friendly. One of the best selections of coffees and teas I've found in the UK, and servings are about 2 cups. Staff warmly welcome you and service is efficient.

Great for an authentic alpine mountain meal. We go frequently to buy Austrian and German food such as knorr soups, breadcrumbs and, of course, sausage. Coffee is great too and the staff are very friendly.

Very different cosy (in winter) little Austrian cafe with a big difference. Serves (& sells) imported Austrian & other Germanic sausages and sweet dishes. Also has a wide range of speciality coffees & teas to compliment your food. Overall a great place for a light meal, snack and a good drink. Highly recommended to all

Lovely friendly staff and really good choice of coffee and tea. It's an Austrian cafe with a mixed menu of Austrian and U.K. items. We didn't eat here, but everyone else's plate looked great. Stopped by for the Bakewell tart a couple of days later, really good.

A genuine Austrian place with the tastiest sausages I've ever found outside Bavaria! Genuine recipes, friendly and efficient service, reasonable prices and a nice little outside seating area. You'd be a fool to walk past...!

We tried each of the sausages and they were wunderbar! Genuinely delicious and such friendly service. Couldn’t recommend more highly!! We had strudel to finish. To quote our German companion: « In the top 1% of strudel outside of Germany »

A small and very authentic Austrian restaurant. If you fancy a meaty lunch, then you should definitely go there. The staff is very friendly and the space is decorated with many traditional Austrian pieces.
