Came in today, 18 August, with my son to take advantage of the amazing steak offer this weekend. Staff so friendly and welcoming great atmosphere. I had a rump he had a sirlion both ordered rare with garlic and parsley butter. Absolutely wonderful meal. Steak cooked to perfection and lovely quality. On top of that the chips were the best I've had in any pub! Would recommend the Castle to anyone ��

Love it! We were staying in the town of Bakewell, my work colleague knew of the castle inn so we went in the first night for dinner! Amazing fast service on the food! Excellent menu and food quality! Loved the ambiance, the owner is fabulous! We have eaten every night and even breakfast ( and we are not staying here!) we have booked rooms for next years show a year in advance!! Highly recommend

Lovely place, nice meal on our evening couldn't wish for better staff from the minute we arrived helpful friendly the best nicely presented breakfast I've ever had and according to my wife the best poached eggs!!!!! The room was spotless and we will most certainly be visiting again perfect choice to stay on our wedding road trip
