It's a good sized cafe in an old railway station with seating inside and out, mostly under cover, plus a big car park and cycle hire next door. Direct foot and bike access from the trail. Lovely café and shop on the peak cycle trail. We hired bikes for 2 hours and managed half of the trail which was really easy with some beautiful views. You can hire the bikes for 4 hours to do the whole trail. Suitable for walkers as well. Great fun even if you haven't been on a bike for years. They
3rd visit here over the course of 2 years. Foods great and coffee is good too! Got absolutely loads of salmon yesterday and for £8.50 it was a bargin. Couldn't have even made it cheaper. Nice little play park for the kids and good spot to ride the bikes too. Highly recommended :)

Cycle Hire: easy to find, large (Paid) car park, we stayed at the B&B so parking was free for us. helpful staff processed the hire quickly and effectively. only issue was felt rushed with clock watching and pressure to return bike in allocated time.

I called in before hiring a push bike for The Monsal Trail. The café exceeded my already high expectations. Friendly and welcoming. A top quality breakfast. There is absolutely nothing to fault. I will call again just for the breakfast before my holiday ends.

Busy café with satellite pizza, snack hut and bike hire operations on site. Right on Monsal Trail so convenient for walkers and cyclists. It cashes in on its prime location, so it's a bit pricey. But then convenience is great if you just want to cycle the trail.
We are six young at heart ladies who hired bikes & completed the trial there & back. We went for normal bikes which was easier than we thought, as I myself haven’t cycled in years. Brilliant bikes and a very professional service.
