Delightful little cafe in the beautiful town of Bakewell. Popped in early on Sunday morning. Was the only place open at that time. But was lovely. Great coffee, illy my favourite, friendly staff too. Didn’t eat but saw food going out which looked very nice. Recommended.

Gorgeous scones and tea - probably the best in a village full of tea and coffee shops. Tea for two was under £10

A really excellent place, amazing value for money, great food and outstanding service. We were a party of 8, they were happy to move tables around to sit us on one table and, most importantly, went to extraordinary lengths to accommodate our dietary requirements (two non-dairy and one veggie). I loved the presentation, such a change from the usual cake stands. Very strongly recommend.

We walked into this cafe at 3.50 p.m. We did not realise they close at 4. However we were invited to sit down, our order was taken cheerily and nobody mentioned the time. We had some really delicious soup with hot drinks which we enjoyed. Service was excellent, food was excellent and we would certainly go back.

At dinnertime (or "lunch" as some call it) on a Sunday it's always going to be busy but the staff managed to get 4 of us in. To say it was busy we weren't left waiting really and the panninis we had were really nice. Even when one was slightly delayed they kept us informed. Spot on 👍.

Really nice food and drinks and is well priced for its location. One of the best hot chocolates I've had in a while! They were also more than helpful with our pram and have baby changing facilities, which is always a plus!

We got a bean and bag breakfast and my boyfriend was full after finishing it and I had a vegetarian breakfast which was very nice. For desert we tried a Bakewell pudding with ice cream and it was very delicious! The staff was very friendly and nice too so if you want to have breakfast in a cozy atmosphere I recommend this place.

Beautiful afternoon tea with warm scones & local delicacies. Plenty for two people & they're happy to provide a box to take left overs home. They also offered to refill our teapot so we spent most of our afternoon there.

We popped into the bean and bag for a coffee and cake. We were not disappointed. Had excellent scones, jam and clotted cream. The chocolate button luxury hot chocolate was amazing. Great service too.
