Great pub with a nice atmosphere, really good honest food. Best roast I have had in a long time; thick cuts of meat, the Yorkshire Pud was fluffy and gravy was tasty. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Would definitely return.
We came for a meal today and really enjoyed sitting in the marquee soaking up the autumn sunshine! The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. Our dog was made very welcome and given a water bowl and treats!! She was really made a fuss of!!
Popped in for a Sunday roast, there is enough food to feed a small army. Roast beef was melt in the mouth, cooked to perfection. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert. Service was excellent with lovely staff. I will definitely be eating here again 🙂
Had a great and reasonably priced meal here, the portions were massive! The servers were excellent. Marked down slightly as the tables were closer together than I would have liked, and they were out of a lot of starters.
What a friendly place. Libby was superb. We felt so welcomed. Great quality breakfast. The room was just perfect. Location was excellent. Thank you from us and our spaniel Jess who was overwhelmed with doggy joy to get complimentary doggy biscuits.
We had a family afternoon lunch at the Manners; four adults and two children + one dog. Food was good and the service was excellent. Staff are attentive and sympathetic to dietary requirements e.g. gluten free cuisine. Car parking space at the rear of the pub is limited but there is a public car par
Firstly to clarify that I did not stay there, just had dinner. And secondly, the service was fantastic - all service staff were attentive and friendly even though it was full house. I had the steak & unicorn pie and it was delicious (a little less salty would be perfect). The dessert was super delic
Me and my partner visited bakewell and found this pub. If you are in bakewell it's a must. We both had the steak and unicorn pie and it was amazing. We'll done to all the staff. Great food great price. Would definitely recommend. Dog friendly and good ales. Thank you very much.
Dropped in for a bite to eat after a busy day exploring Chatsworth House. It was a Saturday around dinner time (with England playing in the rugby world cup semi final) so we were sceptical about getting a table. The lady who served us was excellent. She pushed a few tables together to accommodate o
Stopped there for a lovely dinner during our peak district escapade. Staff were very pleasant and the food was really good, with a special mention to the steak and unicorn pie.
Nice pub with good selection of beers. Friendly welcome and dog friendly. The food is great with good menu choice. Recommend you book as have a good reputation. There's a beer garden to but didn't use this. Best pub in Bakewell for me.
Lovely pub, just a little (50 metres) out of the centre of Bakewell. Great old pub, with a large semi covered beer garden. Ground floor toilets a bonus.
We went to the pub. The food was okay, nothing bad but nothing great too. The service was quick and the place seemed quite busy on a Monday evening.
Stayed here over the weekend for 3 nights what a lovely pub/hotel food was fabulous and the staff were amazing big shout out to Emma libby and all the girls definitely going back again oh and by the way they take dogs winner all the way
