Excellent authentic thin crust Italian pizza, made by an owner who really cares about the quality of his dough and traditional skills like hand stretched bases. Friendly service with a sense of humour. Will be back!

We have eaten here tonight and last night and the food is delicious. Expect a slight wait, BUT as all the food is made from scratch the wait is worth it. Its not very expensive either. The garlic bread was the best we've had. The staff are as good as anywhere, the lady does a fantastic job especially.

Great, tasting pizza made with quality ingredients and served with a smile. The elderly couple (owners?) attending our table were second to none, nothing was too much trouble, gave us great advice, accomodated all our wishes and were always smiling!!! Such wonderful people. Food was delish and tasty! My husband is Italian so we can say hand on heart the pizza has nothing to do with the genuine pizza served in Italy (esp the base) and it is more American than Italian but it did not dissapoint at all as very fresh and yummy. We were impressed by the home made marinera sauce, infused olive oil, both full of flavour and lush mozarella cheese. Would def return and recommend! Thank you for a lovely experience x

Stopped here for an early dinner after a day of sight seeing. This family run cafe is cosy and their food fantastic. The pizza toppings are generous to the the least. The owners are really friendly. The prices are very reasonable you will definitely feel like you are getting value for money. Only thing to note is that they only accept cash so be prepared when you go.

What a little treasure in Bakewell! Lovely homemade and hearty Italian food in a cute place served by the most delightful couple. The food is delicious and very reasonable with well-sized portions (available in three size options too!) We ordered the veggie and regular lasagna, two pizzas, spaghetti Bolognese, sandwich and two starters. Everything was really tasty and the pesto swirls we ordered for starters were definitely our favourite. A must visit if you’re around in Bakewell or the Peak District area.

Stopped at this cafe while out on a bike ride with a friend. Friendly staff, quick service, drinks (tea/latte) were very good and the chocolate cake was on point, will be back again.

Great pizza, especially the vegetarian savoury one. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, we phoned ahead and they were just coming out of the oven when we collected. It is cash only, but there is a cash point just round the corner.

The pizza here is deliciously home-cooked from scratch and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. The cafe itself is cosy and characterful. I had a small (7") tuna & olive pizza with prawns as an added extra. They seemed very happy to take special requests, create half-n-half pizzas, calzones, etc. Tuna pizza is one of my occasional favourites in which Ricci's didn't disappoint. The food seemed good value because the final bill was surprisingly low (although we did only have small pizzas & drinks). Ricci's is usually closed on Tuesdays but luckily we found them open due to Bank Holiday Monday being the day before. Card payments are not accepted although there are numerous cash machines very close by. This is perfectly understandable for small businesses these days, so they still get 5 stars! Would definitely recommend!

We had this Italian Cafe pegged for good things from researching online and boy did it live up to our expectations! A fabulous lunch comprising of the best garlic butter dough balls we have ever had, and 2 plates of beautiful pasta... One of which was not on the menu and made to order!! I cannot recomended this authentic, hidden gem of a new Italian Cafe enough... Try it now... The welcome itself will make you want to never leave!
