Good food, came for a birthday treat. Quite formal, my only quibble is the seating for 2 were very close, so felt like you were looking closely at someone's dinner. All friendly though, so not too awkward.

Lovely atmosphere and service... really tasty food, but I eat very little salt so I found it a tart salty. Loved the sauces with the dishes 👌. Prices reasonable as well. Will definitely visit again when next in this area. Parking easy and cheap...£1 for all the night!

Perfect atmosphere, not too busy or loud and staff were very attentive and excellent service. Food all delicious and such reasonable pricing. A must if you’re on holiday in Bakewell and want some luxury dining.

We were recommended Piedaniels and were not disappointed the gin list is larger than the menu but it was full of winners. We did order and were brought some complimentary home cooked bread which was incredible. We didn't order starters, but my wife had Steak, whilst I went for the Belly Pork both were very good and you did know you had eaten when finished. I did plump for a cheese board whilst my wife was too full to eat more. Will go back staff were friendly, food was amazing, place was clean what more can you ask?

We did a walk-in yesterday which they were able to accommodate after an hour. Dinner was excellent. They gave us a tasty focaccia bread while we waited for the boullabaise and pork. The soup was excellent and light with big chunks of fish. We split up a crepe Suzette for dessert which was lit at the table, it was delicious, the flavour of orange was crisp yet balanced. Had a great dinner here. Would definitely recommend if you're in Bakewell.

One of my favourite places I've eaten to date. This was our final meal of our Mini honeymoon. It did not disappoint in the slightest. Not only was the food good but the service was another level of excellence. Thank you so much for making it a special night for us. Will definitely return one day!

Amazing food, tasty and beautifully presented. My photos do not do the aesthetics of the food justice. Even if we hadn't gone during the eat out to help scheme it would still be good value for money. It worth noting your mains come with a sharing vegetables and some potatoes automatically and is not mentioned on the menu.

Celebrated our anniversary there on the 14th December.warmly greeted on entry and shown to our table which was nicely presented.Drinks order was taken, nothing was rushed and we were left to enjoy the ambience. The food was wonderful and freshly cooked.I really wanted my main course of lamb cutlets to go on forever.Yummy.The waitresses were attentive but not intrusive. All in all a very enjoyable experience, unfortunately we were only visiting Bakewell..........drat!!If only we were local.

Great food and service. We had a truly lovely evening here whilst we were visiting the peak district. I would characterise the food as deceptively simple but done very well. For starters we had crab souffle and and black pudding. Both were good but the crab was the best. I had the cod which was cooked to perfection, my partner had the chicken. We both shared a crepe Suzette which tasted great and was a nice show when it's set on fire. Service was attentive and friendly. Beats many places we have been to in London.
