Fantastic fish and chip shop , great service and equally great food too - well worth a visit
Can't believe we have only just discovered this lovely chip shop. Wonderful fish and really crisp batter and my 'smaller' portion of chips was more than enough the regular one was huge. Yummy.
There isn't enough stars. Me and my girls come at least once a week. The food is amazing fresh and not covered in grease. The portions are good too. The prices are also good and not only that The staff are lovely friendly and very welcoming. I wouldn't go anywhere else for fish and chips.
My first visit to Baildon Fisheries and I was really impressed. Lovely fish and batter nice and crispy. Nice thick chips and a generous serving of curry sauce. The best bit it only cost £4 under the promotion they are running at the moment. Also interesting to note that there were several options for lighter appetites with smaller portion sizes available. Good to know that you can get high quality fish and chips for a competitive price. 5 stars.
Got fish and chips there for tea for all the family tonight! Bloody gorgeous...really nice to have a proper fish and chip shop. The fish was bang on, batter was beautiful, Chips were freshly cooked...bread cakes fresh too and buttered! Peas were 100% too. Ice cold pop, very clean/tidy and staff were happy - service with a smile...This will be my new fish and chip shop
Our family regularly uses Baildon Fisheries. The staff are friendly & professional, the modern interior of the shop is clean & well organised. And the healthy portions of quality food make it one of the best fish & chip shops in the shipley areas.
So good to have a decent fish shop back in Baildon will definately be a regular visitor - well done guys and thank you xxx

Had these as a takaway a few times always enjoyed them. First time in the restaurant wanted normal food . Really enjoyed it. Great service geat fish n Chips and a nice tidy place. Be back for more well done.

Brilliant! Lightly battered was ordered and that's exactly what I got. Light and crispy batter. No sludge between the fish and the batter. Chips were soft and fluffy inside. Friendly environment. All round lovely experience 10/10
They are only open for a couple of hours on an evening. So you have to go early. They never fail to impress. Beautiful flaky fish and crispy batter. They also give a discount if you pay cash. But happily take card payments too

Great fish and chips and great service. They cook to order so its hot and fresh for you. I ordered on arrival and only had to wait a few minutes for it to be ready (3 fish, 2 chips, curry sauce, peas). I asked for a light batter on the fish and it was perfect. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
I never leave google reviews but the fish and chips we've had from here recently have been so nice, really good big chunky haddock and light crispy batter - so good I felt compelled to leave a review!
I live abroad so always look forward to fish and chips when back visiting family, and our takeaway from Baildon Fisheries last night didn't disappoint. I had the light meal, small fish and small chips, which was fab, great portion size and very tasty. Parents had fish and a cake, and we all shared mushy peas and curry sauce. It was all superb, thank you.
I cannot praise the owners of this Fish and Chip Shop enough. Formerly Baildon Fisheries. The food ia always spot on, as is the service. They go above an beyond to serve their local community.

Last week,when the power supply had been outed by the storm.we sent out for fish and chips,they were delivered and arrived hot and crisp,and were a taste sensation! So thank you for that.So impressed was I,that I wanted to try Baildon Fisheries again just to be sure they were as good as I thought they were.They were not !

I used to occasionally use Charlestown Fisheries under the previous ownership and I regularly used Baildon Fisheries. It's great news that Lee and Jenny and team are back delivering top notch grub to Baildon and the surrounding area. We had a large delivery this weekend with family round, and everyone was very happy with what they got. We will definitely be ordering again before long.
Went today to collect a online order for the first time.. what can I say … Absolutely beautiful fish and chips and battered sausage !! Very good prompt service and friendly staff 😊👍 would highly recommend this place.. we will be going again 😁😁

Nothing is ever too much, even phoning to check I can order ten mins before closing as I’m greedy and just needed fish and chips!
Lee and his team are all so polite and the service is next to none, the food is always fresh,delicious and piping hot, I will always recommend and would not deter from Baildon Fisheries! Have used for many years and will continue to use for many years! One of the very few places I can honestly say I’ve never had any bad experience. What’s more outstanding with Baildon Fisheries is their services during the pandemic and still serving many families in timely manners. Superstars!!!!
