Very good food. Very good value for your money. Staff were very pleasant.
Great food very well presented. Great chef.
Great service. Excellent choice off food.
Food was tasty and staff were polite and professional. We were a large group with a range of dietary requirements, and were offered options not on the menu where needed. Thanks!
Brilliant staff, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We sat outside with the dogs under the gazebo and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The chef was very accommodating with meals and the food was the nicest we had all week on our trip away from home!
Nice village pub, excellent choice of ales and cider. Inside dinning plus outside tables. Good sized car park. Wheelchair accessible.
Great little local pub that has a rotation of 3 guest ales. It has some food in the restaurant bit which I have not sampled but I hear good things about. A few benches out front too so you can enjoy the warmer weather outside too. 👍
Wow.. this chef can cook!! Entirely fantastic rack of lamb, and I had brisket, all freshly prepared for 3.30 on a Friday afternoon. Presentation was firat class, with plenty to eat. Scrumptous pud, and truffle cheeseboard was a delight. Service was great, beer was fine, just can't fault the experien
Went this Sunday for a roast dinner and did not dissapoint. Great food, superb ale and the staff were superb. Catered for my three year old with a half portion too. Big thumbs up
Amazing food, very friendly atmosphere. Great undiscovered country pub. Highly recommended.
Food is magnificent very well presented. The prices are very good. The chef is a lovely person, all staff are friendly and professional. It's a great place, give it a go. This is just one of the deserts. Yum yum.
I've stayed here at least ten times, sometimes with my girlfriend and sometimes on my own. The staff are fantastic, very nice and helpful. The rooms are well kept, always clean and the beds seem to be freshly changed every time. The rooms include everything you could need, from a television, WiFi, a
Had a fabulous Sunday lunch, tender roast beef and beautifully cooked veg and a dessert that was heavenly. The staff were very helpful and Peter the chef couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend the Wheatsheaf.
Really well presented, tasty food at the Chinese international night the chef is first class. We'll be back to sample foodie delights soon. Nile was a really polite and attentive host, and delivered first class service.
Great food, very hospitable staff. We had Hake which we’d never had before & it was excellent. Very good value, a very good menu. Definitely recommend.
