I recently had the pleasure of visiting 1832 Barista in Bacup for afternoon tea, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that set the tone for a wonderful afternoon. The sandwiches and cakes provided were not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors and textures.
What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service and attentiveness of the owners. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our afternoon tea was perfect. Their genuine enthusiasm for creating a memorable experience was evident in the care they took to cater to our preferences and dietary requirements. Whether it was refilling our tea cups or providing marshmallows in a separate cup for our hot chocolate, they couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome.

Very cosy little coffee shop and bar. Walking past on a Saturday evening stuck our heads in to ask if they sold alcohol (they do) so we went in, and we're glad we did. It's so cosy and relaxed. A new pizza oven was being tried out and we were given one to sample. Even though we'd already eaten elsewhere we scoffed the pizza, and it was delicious. Definitely visiting again, and again.....
We stumbled across this amazing coffee shop by chance and we were so happy that we did. We received a very warm welcome and had great coffee and cakes in this cosy, modern bistro. Thank you 😊

Was in Bacup on a visit and found this gorgeous, comfortable cafe with amazing most welcoming staff. The toasted sandwiches were just the best yet and their soup is delicious.
It was so comfortable and friendly. Would love to go back if I'm kn a visit again from Ireland.
What a great little place! Forget your Starbucks, Costa etc. Just come here for fantastic coffee and delicious fruit scones.
Even grab a afternoon cocktail or two!
Had a very good coffee and toast breakfast here this morning. Enjoyed their friendly service and a uniquely good atmosphere.
Hadn't known this gem of a place was here until I visited with a friend yesterday for lunch. Great atmosphere, helpful staff, good service and fantastic food - the avocado, bacon and feta on toast was truly amazing. Can't wait to return!
An amazing, inviting, cosy coffee shop. Wendy and Steve are a delight, always lovely and chatty and delivering tasty food, drinks and homemade cakes etc would highly recommend!
A superb flat white! Very friendly staff, a great decor and all very clean and tidy! A great place to relax, or get a bit of work done.

What a surprise to find this little gem of a coffee shop in Bacup. Gorgeous couple who own it, so polite, welcoming and absolutely amazing homemade cakes… you must pop in if passing through Bacup. Hopefully more cute shops will open just like this.
Amazing spot for coffee/brunch/lunch and even a cocktail! Very friendly owners providing excellent service. Milk alternatives available for coffee, great cakes, fab bacon sandwiches and I highly recommend the Greek salad.

Really good coffee, cake and service. Coffee especially was strong and flavourful but without any bitterness.
Will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.
