Quality and service is excellent, staff are so friendly and helpful.
Absolutely worth the wait if they are full.
Only a small place, but big on service and flavour.
They also sell ice cream.
Food is really good, I would recommend anyone to drop in and eat there.

We came to Aysgarth on a rainy day and were so happy to find this adorable tea shop open and ready to house and feed us. Such a lovely atmosphere with fairy lights and full cake counter. What a selection!! All homemade - soup was delicious (leek & sweet potato), baked potato, Welsh rarebit & a BLT - salad & coleslaw all yummy. Couldn't manage cakes aswell but will go again just for those, they all looked wonderful!

Popped in for ice cream half way through our jaunt around Aysgarth Falls. There are around 8 different flavours to choose from. We pretty much tasted them all amongst us.
I went for the double chocolate and lemon meringue double scoop which was £4. Not the cheapest however the ice cream is dreamy.

We stopped here for a hot chocolate and cakes whilst visiting the waterfall. The service was friendly and efficient and the home made cakes were amazing. Well worth a visit.
We stopped for lunch here and the food and service was excellent. The quiche was beautifully light and came with a nice side salad. They also have an excellent choice of cakes, brownies etc. The staff were so friendly too. Definitely worth a visit.
