Really fantastic food and service. We made a reservation the day before and managed to get a table for 3 on a Friday night with ease. The food was incredibly tasty and the staff were amazing. The main restaurant is still under renovation and it is a bit tight for seating here, but that just adds to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
Sushi is absolutely delicious. Amazing service. BYOB or takeaway. Please try this place cannot recommend it enough.

Came here for a birthday dinner and the food was amazing!Some of the best sushi I've had!The staff were so polite and welcoming and the restaurant was cozy and comfortable.We will definitely be going back.
We had the salmon and the vegetable tempura bento boxes, which also include miso soup. Absolutely loved the whole meal. Wonderful service and will happily be back to try more of the menu.
Such a friendly atmosphere. The food was lovely. The front of the house is super friendly and kind. Highly recommend this place if you're in Ayr.
Really, very good. One of my kids said, "it tastes like it's home made". Now, my ability to make authentic Thai food is at best limited so they were obviously referring to another home but I know what they meant, and it's a compliment.
We went to Homer for the Japanese things on the menu too (they're Japan-mad) so we had sushi, dim-sum, spring rolls, veg green curry, and some kind of beef noodle thing. Every single thing tasted amazing, and the lady who served us was so nice! We'll definitely be back.

It's definitely not cheap but it is simply THE most authentic Thai restaurant and takeaway we've come across in Scotland so far. Having been to Bangkok and Phuket and eaten there extensively, enjoying the most awesome street food, Homer2Go brings back so many amazing and happy memories. We live 40 minutes away from their takeaway, get the driver to meet us half way....we drive to meet the driver. That's how good this place is.
Som Tam, Laarb, awesome sticky rice, sushi etc etc... Just give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
Note: restaurant is currently under refurbishment as of April 2023. Takeaway is a separate shop a few doors up the road but it does also have a few sit in tables.

Honestly THE BEST SUSHI ever. We popped in for a lite bite and ended up have 5 different dishes. 100% non keto days I’m here 😃
Takeaway sushi is great but even better sat in. Great bento box with salmon, sushi etc and my boy was spoiled and looked after by the staff. Enjoyed his katsu chicken sause separate.

Excellent sushi place, probably the best I've visited in the UK. The food was all made to order, very fresh and high quality. It's a small venue, so booking ahead is highly recommended. Outstanding staff were very welcoming to us. Will definitely be back!!
We cannot say enough about Homer in Ayr to make it any better than what it is. The food is beyond beautiful and very well presented in portions that are just enough to make you want more and more . The staff and owner are warm and relaxed hosts that make the experience even better. If you are looking for amazing Japanese cuisine look no further.
Excellent service from the team at the site. Gluten free rice was prepared and also several dishes. Beautiful nori, maki, and rainbow rolls. Very skilled preparation. The died ginger put me off however, and the rice noodle was very clumpy. Some more attention to quality and it would be 5 stars.
