We had my Birthday lunch here.
The food was just amazing and very reasonably priced. Harry was very attentive and pleasant without being intrusive.
I cannot praise the restaurant highly enough.
Compliments to the manager/owner, Harry and the 2 chefs for an outstanding experience 👏.

The waiter was lovely and the steak was excellent, small menu on offer from what I thought was going to be available from pictures i saw online, a tad disappointing but quality of food made up for it...
The food was excellent and the waiting staff Michael and Harry gave a first class service. The live music was brilliant too. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in Ayr.

Amazing lobster Mac and cheese! It’s is one of the new creations of this restaurant. Very generous portion of lobster meat. Must try at Ghillie Dhu!

We were there for a late lunch. Although there wasn't a great choice for the main course, we thoroughly enjoyed a meal from specials menu. We weren't sure if it would be too spicy for us, so the waitress gave us a sample of the sauce to try. Service was good as was the food. Wasn't too pricy eithe

One of the best places for food in the town! Highly recommend the street food menu. Speaking as a chef it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Not to mention the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t praise it enough! Well worth a visit!
