The food was very delicious,especially the dressing with my starter, and there was so much in my main that i couldn't eat it all,which is quite unusual these days to have a 'hearty serving',also delicious and Husband had Steak in Peppercorn sauce, which he managed to eat all of his which he doesn't usually do,as there was so much, but he said it was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and friendly and although very busy were attentive too. Neither of us had alcohol but our soft drinks were good,and plenty of ice as the temp on the day was 29°,and the overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. It was reasonably priced too and cost us £32 and odd pence for 1 starter 2 'hearty' portion mains and 4 pint of soft drinks. We really enjoyed it and will definately be going back. I highly recommend Christina's Bar and Restaurant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Most delicious food I’ve ever eaten at a pub or restaurant in Scotland (and I’ve lived here 7 years). Such friendly staff and quick service, will be back every time I’m in Ayr. P.s definitely get the macaroni cheese!

First time in this pub for food today and what can I say fantastic food was brilliant and plenty of it and the service was excellent had our 2 week old grandson with us can't wait to go back if you haven't been go you will not be disappointed

Been visiting Ayr on day trips for 20+ years now and never knew this place existed. Stumbled upon it yesterday and decided to go in for bar lunch.
Great value and good homemade food , 2 mains for £12. you can add a starter or desert for £3.95 as well. We will be back.
Popped in for a quick drink, seen lunch menu, thought give it a try, ordered steak pie, was fantastic, 2 main courses for £12, decided to have a sweet, ordered crumble, was great, was too big for us, tried our best though. Toilets were clean, staff friendly and very helpful. We will be back.
My mother and I go to Ayr about once a month.We found this hidden gem just off the Ayr main street about a year ago .Great friendly service the food was excellent and great value.
Visiting Ayr I looked at reviews for a pub and based on them I went to Christina's bar. There are 2 rooms a vault and lounge. Vault is abit lively but lounge with real fire and nice furnishings is excellent. Good selection of beers good price and excellent food. 2 mains for £12. Beth looked after us would definitely return if in the area again.

If you like old school pub with top quality meals then this is the place for you! They have a decent chef, wide range menu, nicely priced meals and offers, quality ingredients cooked well, friendly hosts. Loos could do with refurb but they work and they're clean.

Pleasant, efficient staff. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. Had the lentil soup, baked trout with side salad and boiled potatoes, a diet coke and an espresso. £12 all in. Excellent
Beautiful surroundings for a luncheon or function. Well priced drinks and really high standard food, a menu to suit all tastes, separate public bar, the lounge is a great wee nook for dining! Enjoy
