The best cafe in town, look forward to my lunch there most days x
I recently visited the New Fullarton Cafe in Ayr and had quite an interesting experience. After narrowly missing my bus due to another wheelchair user beating me to it, I found myself with a 30-45 minute wait for the next one. Inquiring at the information desk for a quiet place to wait, the cafe was suggested to me, and I'm grateful for that recommendation.
Getting into the cafe had its challenges, as there was a medium-sized step outside that took me a couple of tries to figure out the right technique to overcome. However, once inside, I was greeted by a serene and welcoming community atmosphere. Navigating my way to the counter in my wheelchair was relatively easy. At the front of the cafe, a blackboard served as the menu, and it was refreshingly clear and easy to read.
I decided to try the chicken tikka panini with cheese, which was priced at a reasonable 3 pounds. Considering the portion size and the fact that it came hot and fairly quickly, I found it to be a fair deal. The staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was inviting. I contemplated sitting in for a longer connection time on my next visit.
However, my main gripe with the cafe is the entrance step, which can be a significant obstacle for people who use mobility aids or have limited mobility. It would be great if they could address this accessibility issue to make the cafe more inclusive for all patrons.
In summary, the New Fullarton Cafe offers a warm and friendly environment with a straightforward menu and reasonable prices. It's a great place to grab a quick bite, but improvements in accessibility would make it even better for a wider range of customers.
Visited on 19th of October 2021. The mushroom soup was fantastic and the Bacon cheeseburger was amazing. Service was extremely friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back when I'm in town

Excellent food, very competitive prices, but it's the Staff who make this such a good place to visit. They are lovely, kind, friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. I'm also Disabled and they are extra kind and helpful and understand my needs and do everything they can to accommodate them. Definitely The Best Café in Ayr and surrounding areas. Highly Recommend.

Fab cafe just across from Aye bus station. We had a spontaneous vege breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast with tea for two. Staff were upbeat and chatty. All grand. Cheers.
Great food, very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Staff are very nice and helpful, the food is good and don't have to wait long. If you're in Ayr near the bus station and are hungry give it a go you won't be disappointed.
Food was amazing. Loved every bite. The beer garden is in the shade. This made it very comfortable on a hot day.

I was in on Saturday morning for a breakfast with my daughter the young girl with long dark hair with pony tail took our order and when brought to table it was wrong she did take it back and changed It, she gave us and other people the impression she couldn't be bother, it's usually a week day I'm in and staff are great. But afraid I won't be back on a Saturday. ☹
Good food and hot drinks and very nice staff
