Reviews The Town House

A trip into Ayr and a wee cake and coffee to sustain us whilst we visited the town. The Town House was a lovely wee find, the home baked shortbread and empire biscuits were just what we needed. Tea, decaf latte and latte were hot, the way I like it! and tasted lovely. The decor and was just like sitting in a town house room, it would have been better if the toilets reflected the other areas, a bit disappointing...maybe a wee upgrade would benefit the business?? Also, we were wondering about the history e.g. who would have lived in these types of houses, was there an upstairs, was there a downstairs etc :)
