Friendly staff and great food
I like going there when I am visiting family but I shouldn't divulge in eating too much food which isn't good for me I can also get less so I don't waste any
Great portion of very good food.

Visited the lucky star after yesterday's race meeting, the fish was fantastic, will be back next time in Ayr. 👍
Been going here for 30 years. That makes me incredibly sad and depressed tbh, but their fish and chips make it all better.
Fast, friendly service! Not to mention the good mention the fish and chips was great.
i got a number 6 box and 2x black pudding fritters for a tenner and it could have fed an army ! the chips are the best around. 5/5 chippy . the black pudding fritters were the best thing i ever had from a chippy.

Superb food, one of the best chippies in ayr, the only thing i can fault is that the curry sauce they make is always lumpy, othetwise friendly staff and owner and fairly priced
