All of the Greggs staff I've met and spoken to are friendly, helpful and talkative except for one or two staff at this branch. There's one woman in particular who goes about looking harrassed and sounds disgruntled each time I've been in. It seems like she struggles with making anything other than a black or flat white coffee. I've asked her for a mocha and every time she gets it wrong which means it gets poured down the drain. Looking at the bigger picture and the unit space is tiny which indicates, that the number of staff required to ensure the branch is operating properly, effectively and safely will be restricted and furthermore, the amount of customers queuing is increasing at the busiest times. This isn't fair on the staff but perhaps relocating to a bigger unit, both wider and longer might help solve some of these issues?

Staff aren't quite as hospitable as the "bottom" Greg's (lower end of high street) but man do they make them sausage rolls EXACTLY the same. Consistency is key.

Great coffee/sandwiches/banquettes. Real value for money if on a low budget. Staff really nice in Glasgow, Girvan and Ayr.

Great for a quick bite on the go, vast array of sandwiches, paninis, pasties etc. Reasonably priced. Nice friendly staff and it's lovely and clean ☺

The Ladies that work here are so nice, lovely to kids. My son doesn't speak very much English, but the lady in here is very patient and even takes her time to help him learn something new. If you are lucky you might see Garry Lineker (The Herring Gull) stealing a packet of walkers crisps. Well.. If the council are trying to ban feeding them they have to resort to shoplifting. 😂 Hahaha, Goodluck to you Garry Lineker!.
