This was a great find since the Trip Advisor reference is for a different restaurant nearby previously owned by partners. The food was well prepared and well presented. A good choice on the menu and many deals and offers are available. Good wine is also offered in less than bottle volumes, so you do not have to buy a whole bottle and everything is well presented by friendly informed staff. I shall definitely find an excuse to return here.
Our food was amazing, our drinks were perfect. Only issue was the starter was quite small, but so tasty. Service was great too

Excellent meal on Sunday evening! There were six of us and four decided we would have the Sunday special which was a roast banquet costing £10 per head! We got a large platter with enough roast beef to give us all three slices each and two side platters with a selection of vegetables! The other two had sea bass and said it was the best quality and portions they had had anywhere! Can highly recommend this venue for excellent service and good quality meals at reasonable prices! Will definitely be back!
Lovely restaurant. Staff really helpful, polite and friendly. Meal was an itison deal but quality wasn't compromised. We ordered the sharing platter starter as an extra and it was superb. Only a 4 star as it was very quiet which meant vibe wasn't great which was a shame. Would love to see restaurant busy, it's definitely worth a visit.
100% wonderful. Its always difficult to determine what constitutes the best where food and hospitality are concerned. It is often a subjective and personal. Most importantly, the food here is stunning. Service - having recently visited twice as part of quite large groups (14 guests, which can be difficult number to manage) I can confirm that the delivery of service was 10/10. Restaurants with this decor, this service and this food are difficult to find, especially at these prices. PS - I ate vegetarian. Those who ate meat all enjoyed their choices.

Staff were very pleasant and cheerful.
One small complaint, be careful as the picture frame fireplace is a little low, my husband walked right into it and grazed his shoulder.
