Food and service were excellent. The terrace is dog friendly. Our girl received a complimentary bowl of iced water and a bonio! Great place all round.

I have been buzzin around ayr for 2 years and ALAS, never have I been to the highly recommended Secret Garden. Sunny gorgeous Saturday, stroll down the beach, stumbled upon this Ayrshire Glory, and I’m sold. When I tell you, I wasn’t even hungry… but when I saw Cajun chicken salad I was tempted like a moth to a lamp. 10/10. And a coffee with so many flavours!? I got the mint, fresh and cold. Highly reccomended!

The place didn't draw my attention from the outside but what a lovely place! We went as a group of 7 (incl 3 kids) and had breakfast. It entailed rolls, bagels, English muffins and waffles, we all loved it! The place has an indoor and an outdoor seating area. The staff was friendly and professional. A good choice of food and drinks on the menu. I'm already looking forward to going back, maybe for cake next time because the desserts looked lovely!

Twice I've been here recently and can't fault the place. The staff are all very welcoming and polite from the moment you arrive. As for the food, delicious and good sized portions. Will definitely be back

Lovely little place next to the river Ayr and close to the beach promenade. The food and service are excellent even when it's very busy. It's quite small inside but has a good seating area outside, some of which is covered. The only negative is the limited parking available.

This little cafe is real a secret germ. It has an indoor and outdoor seating area. We booked a table in the morning for lunch time and we're happy we did as it was busy and we wanted to eat in. Had salmon salad and ham and cheese panini. All fresh and delicious. As dessert the fuge scone is highly recommended, if you still have room left in your stomach. We definitely come back.

Wee hidden gem, dog friendly decking at the rear overlooking the river. With a covered area if the Scottish weather is not so great.
