My wife and I visited for a meal last night. As promised when I booked online we received a very warm welcome, the service was first class and very friendly. The food was fantastic and even though I forgot to order rice it really wasn't needed, the portion was plenty with lovely tender meat and lots of sauce for the naan bread (and I'm a big chap). I ordered a beer and it was cold and tasty and I even received a free glass of beer before we settled the bill. There are very few places to eat so well whilst watching a beautiful sunset over Arran. We will be returning. Thank you.

The food was really lovely and the staff made it even better. The atmosphere was really nice. My 7 year old had the chicken tikka from the kids menu for her main meal and she absolutely loved it, and she can be a bit fussy. I always have a Madras but it wasn't on the menu which was no trouble at all they made one for me. I am very impressed with the whole experience. Thank you.

Wow, I like to think I have been to some pretty decent indian resturants in my time but this is definately the best I have ever been to without any doubt, top top food, beautiful presentation and really friendly staff, they just need to open up another near Cambridge so I can go more often.

Lovely meal staff were great with kids. It is a bit expensive but worth it if you like a good curry.

We ordered a takeaway last night, delivery was really quick, food was excellent with lots of flavour. I thought the portion sizes were fantastic and great value for money. It's been a while since we've eaten from here but definitely won't leave it as long till the next time

Very nice restaurant, very clean and like the decor. Friendly waitress and excellent food. Had a slight issue with the chicken tikka which was resolved nicely by the owner who explained it clearly. Nice atmosphere and even had chats with other tables which was nice. I tried something new and loved it and my colleague really enjoyed it too. They even gave me a shot of whisky at the end which was nice. Definitely recommend and will be back next time I'm in the area.

Just had a great meal. Food was fantastic as always at any of their places. Staff very attentive and always look after you. Willing to alter dishes to suit your palate. Wouldn't go anywhere else . Special touches are family who own premises remember the regulars by name even if you haven't been for a while. Excellent value for Excellent food.

Had a meal with my wife & chose the lunchtime menu - delicious food, wide choice & for only £12.50 per head! Best of all was the service provided by our hostess/waitress Taylor - she was exemplary! Will certainly visit again when I'm in this part of Scotland again

First lunch out in over 27 weeks and boy did Ayr India come up with the goods. Food was sublime! Popadoms, spiced onions, mango chutney and tandoori dip... Haggis pakora and chicken tikka flatbread... Followed by chicken tikka chasni and lamb Karahi with rice and the best naan I've tasted! Good social distancing and hygiene. Very friendly and attentive service... and as it was our first visit... Complimentary liqueurs of our choice... Bailey's and a Glayva. First time in Ayr India but most certainly not our last. Highly recommended.

Great food and very warm, welcoming and friendly staff. It's located right next to the beach which i feel is an added benefit. A must visit place if you prefer Indian food or want to give it a try.

Taylor, our waitress was excellent, and the food was beautiful. I would wholly recommend this restaurant for the food ambience and the service. So much so we're booked again for September. Quality food 😋

Nice food and friendly service (despite wee mistake!). And in the hot day, the restaurant was a nice and welcome cool temperature. They have a budget-friendly lunchtime menu, too.

Great lunchtime meal. Excellently prepared and tasty meals. £10.50 for 3 courses as a lunch time special was a bargain. Healthy portions of superb food. Best that we've eaten for years.

We were in Ayr for a long weekend and just happened to see this place walking past (the name made me chuckle). We booked up for tonight and OMG was the best decision we ever made. The service was good and the food the best Indian meal we have ever had in the UK. Not salty or over greasy like most, plenty meat and flavours were great. The onion bhajis were phenomenal and I love that chat masala was on the starters - I love this stuff. The tiny tiny criticism is that the chutney tray with the popadoms could have an extra chutney or two, but what was there tasted lovely.
