Lovely bistro just a short walk from the train station. Was in town for the day and found this on Google. Ordered the chowder and fish cake. Both amazing - fresh and homemade. Just lovely.

We had a lovely meal here. The staff were really friendly. They were also very careful about covid, wearing masks at all times. We really enjoyed our local (bottled) ales: Ayr's own Leezie Lundie and Jolly Beggars. The food was delicious yet very reasonably priced, with many locally sourced options.
Lovely little place that's often overlooked. Everyone really enjoyed everything they had and absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Will definitely be back.
