Very friendly, every time myself and my partner (Jo) visit ,a wide selection of drinks and snacks ,the best part though is that it's modern feel but also reminds me of an old snug in a country pub , absolutely can't fault it

Brilliant real ale pub with a great choice of cask keg and bottled beers. Also serves proper cider and the best cobs in the world. Oh and also they serve something called coffee?

One of my favourite places to drink, has a good selection of real beers and cider. No lager in sight except for one bottle of craft in the fridge. They always have really top quality beer, some on cask and some keg. The cheese and onion cobs are quite frankly ridiculous, so big!

Usually a great real ale pub but currently due to COVID-19 its been converted into an amazing off license full of the weird and wonderful. Expect small batch artisan brews from around the world rather than mass produced drinks, piled high and ever changing. Check out their Facebook page for new offerings each week. The nature of the beers they sell means its not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I visited The Ale Stone for the first time today. Wow. Proper beer in very pleasant surroundings. No banging music, just a nice calm ambiance. Nice friendly staff . The place was full of well mannered customer's who looked to be relaxed and enjoying the place and the beer. I will be visiting The Ale Stone again next time I'm over that way. I recomend the place.

Genuinely was surprised by how cosy and nice this little pub is. Everything on tap was interesting and tasty, none of that corporate garbage. To see honest I have to drop a start only because of how small the establishment is; it only has 3 tables. But if that doesn't bother you consider this a 5 star.

This is a small real ale pub with a good selection of real ales that change on a regular basis. There's no music or TV so you have to talk There's a good selection of snack and every Sunday morning you can get a lovely bacon cob cooked to perfection. I could say more but you really must visit this pub. Evan if just for a coffee and biscuits. Dogs are welcome.

Excellent micro pub in the 2020 CAMRA good beer guide. Choice of 4 real ales. I enjoyed one. Then drank Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus. A top Belgium beer. Friendly locals and bar staff. Only a short bus ride from Leicester city centre also another two pubs to try before bus back.

Great range of drinks in this new micropub which opened in July. In addition to Real Ales, Wine, Cider and Spirits as well as Coffee and Hot drinks also bar food: filled cobs, pork pies, cheeseboard and cake as well as the usual bar snacks Friendly staff. Fast Service. No car park but free on-street parking in the area. Bus stops are very near to entrance and directly opposite entrance on opposite side of the road make it easy to get to/from by the frequent public transport buses that pass during the day (less frequently at night). Disabled accessible entrance. Wheelchair accessible tables. Cannot wait to go back.
