We had brunch there. Nafisa was on the till, she was really nice and friendly, she was really quick with our order and served us on the table although it’s self service. She made us feel valuable and she cares for the customers. The food was fresh, delicious, and cooked perfectly.
Hands down the best presented kebab in the whole of Aylesbury. Get the boss box. No regrets. The actual kebab tasted banging , the fries are decent and the spring rolls are pretty tasty too. It’s Aylesbury so the atmosphere is what it is. For a quick grab after a long day I defo recommend. Thank to Andreea for the good service :)
GDK is always consistent and doesn't compromise on taste.
Customer Service is commendable. A huge shout out to Shalini who carries a delightful smile all the time and ensures customers are happy with their meal.
The food was great and was prepared quickly. A lady called Andrea wanted me to leave a review. She was very friendly and attentive but communication with her is not the easiest as it is very clear that English is not her first language.
Edit: it’s also clear the owner/manager does not properly read these reviews, leaving the same response to each one.
Had a nice catch up with a good friend after a few years. Gotta extend my particular gratitude to the Andrea Madalina, the member of staff at the restaurant. She was awesome, great service throughout and a good welcome received. Having observed her work I was astounded at the speed she attended to both delivery collections and regular customers at the till! Well done Andrea!

A Doner Kebab experience with a difference!
We had lunch here recently to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed the visit. GDK has a unique menu of Doner Kebabs and variations of it such as the Coco Doner, Crunch Doner burger, Berlin Strasse, Doner box etc. Their standard Doner kebab also has a unique taste, quite unlike the run-of-the-mill Doner kebab takeaway joints. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. We loved it. Keep it up, GDK!
One aspect where I think it needs improvement is that of service. While we were served our order very quickly (great job, GDK Aylesbury!), the person who served us seemed very cold and lacked a smile on her face. There weren't too many customers in the restaurant either. A service with a smile would have enhanced the customer experience.
I think GDK lacks the appeal of a restaurant, although it has lots of seating space. The place seems to be geared for takeaway orders and seat-in dining is just an optional facility! GDK needs to decide what it wants to be. If it's a restaurant it aspires to be, then it needs to provide the full restaurant experience- a full menu with hot drinks and desserts and a more engaged staff.

Have visited this GDK a few times. Food is to a good standard. They do need to offer metal cutlery for those who eat in. Sauces are sometimes included. Andreea served us, as she has done on a number of occasions. She was professional and brought our food over to us.

Well located German Doner Kebab. Very good quality that does not disappoint. I really like this brand, chicken tastes great, portions are generous, they combine well with sauces in a very crispy tasty kebab bread. Typical decor for the franchise, with comfy booths. Definitely will be coming back.
