Beautiful surroundings and excellent food. Very friendly service. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon.
Our first visit, we were not disappointed. My pizza was delicious and huge. A box was provided to take home what I could not eat.
First visit at the weekend with friends for Sunday roast. I’m vegetarian and there is a vegan option on the menu. Nice selection of veggies. The nut roast was small more like a child’s portion. So sadly not a good value roast in my view. Very busy with a couple of birthday parties so it was hard to chat. Nice service.
Had the roast chicken meal. No exaggeration, this was the best roast I've had in years. Huge portion and everything was so flavourful. Veggies, potatoes and of course the chicken brought together with a rich gravy. Honestly, can't believe this is less then 10 minutes away from me and I hadn't been here before. My new favourite spot. And the other 3 meals for the family were just as good

Friendly staff and good food. Nice views of the lake from the bandstand. Chef personally spoke to my wife about her allergies and was exceptionally accommodating. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely visit.

Having visited before on holiday we loved it here and the food was excellent. Unfortunately this time we visited the menu wasn't to my choice so we didn't order as we didn't manage to reach in time for roast which smelt incredible .
Being able to feed the ducks out side with a beer is nice and relaxing 👍
Visited today with 3 older guests . Staff were amazing in accommodating our requests. Nothing was too much trouble, food was lovely as was the seating area .

Me and my husband had the Rib-eye with garlic parmesan fries with mushroom sauce and it was amaaaaazing. Also had panacotta and it was delicious.

This is one of the best pubs around Aylesbury. There pizza is a must try. In general food is great! The restaurant is aesthetic and love the ambiance. Value for money is great. Friendly staff. Go have a good time! 👍🏾
This place is great! I love coming here for lunch on a sunny afternoon. Tasty food, great views, and a fantastic atmosphere.
The lake is lovely, with lots of ducks and swans. You can buy birdfeed from the bar (£1 for a pint glass) which keeps the kids busy for a bit.
The food is good value for money, large portions that are well-cooked and tasty. They take a bit longer than you might expect, but presumably that means the food is cooked fresh instead of just reheated do I don't mind the wait.
This is a great place to relax and unwind, with various paths around the lake to explore after you've eaten. There are a few grassy areas as well, for those that fancy a bit of football.
A lot of parents bring young children here to run around, so if you're not a huge fan of kids this may not be the place for you.
All in all a great pub, with lovely views and a good atmosphere.
Great place for watching sports, socialising and for family meals.
