Had a lovely roast chicken and roast beef meal here. It was a quiet day in the pub but really enjoyed food, roasts were yummy and then had a strawberry pastry with cream and chocolate. Very nice staff, had nice chat with the chef talking about sourcing local ingredients as much as possible. We were
A friendly pub with a well stocked bar, constantly changing ales and an above average Guinness. Food is good and great value for money. Sunday roast is solid. Family friendly and very hospitable for dogs. A good quiz, weekly, on a Thursday night and a sun trap of a courtyard garden.
I don't know if I'm just easily pleased but this was truly lush! The day before I had gone to a restaurant in London and this home town pub smashed it out of the field (not sure if that's a metaphor 🤔).

The sign outside saying it’s “probably the best roast in Aylesbury” is very accurate. Best proper roast in the area. The pub is clean, quiet and the staff are great.

Under brilliant new management, super friendly and welcoming staff, all homemade fresh food and the roasts are to die for! Great selection on drinks and bt/sky sports also! Looking forward to the summer and bringing the whole family along
