The Hop Pole Inn - Aylesbury - Photo album

One of my locals. Staff are always friendly, local seasonal ales. Great pub food, along with regular pop-up kitchens including Thai and Caribbean. Only tried the pub/Thai foods but both were excellent with good portion sizes.
Honest British pub, excellent range of ales on offer, all of them are exceptionally well kept by the landlord. If you like beer, then there is no better pub in Aylesbury.
Was our first time here and won't be are last amazing place whis had used before amazing customer service and also bug thanks to the chef who we briefly chatted to your food is amazing we will be back for sure recommend to all to try thanks all for a great night back soon 😀
First visit since lockdown, five real ales on tap Gravitas in good form. Ian has introduced sensible and well considered Covid controls.
Friendly staff and relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Always a good selection of craft beers.
Very busy and warm and welcoming. Service was excellent and drinks priced good. Food looked good.We were eating out at the new Japanese restaurant. We will try the food here next time when we come down to visit family again.
Good range of cask ales, including a selection from Vale brewery and a couple from the on site brewery. On site brewery no longer operates. A larger range of guest ales now available. Usually an even split between Vale and guest ales these days, mostly rate offerings. Also a good range of Belgian
Great Sunday roast and really good real ale .
Lovely traditional pub with good selection of Ale's. Very warm and cosy with good food menu. Check out their Sunday Roasts, very yummy 😋
The best craft beer place around. I love this little pub, always bring friends who are visiting here. I am looking forward to visiting during the six nations 🍻👍🏽
They have a good selection of beers, and the food looked good. Although we didn't eat.
Landlord keeps beer well always go to watch the rugby - like a country pub in town
We had a family meal here. Nice friendly atmosphere. Lovely food good service, we will return
If you wanted a bit of peace and space the lower back bar was the place to be. Love that they have sanitizer right by the door. Lovely atmosphere it feels like a cosy country pub in the heart of town. They have lots of live music and monthly vinal night, quizzes ect and yummy food
Great pub with good service and choice.
Loverly place, nice staff, good food.
Really friendly team great craft beer selection.
This is my local and my regular. The beer is good, wide range of real ale, including from the micro brewery, and good range of continental bottles as well as lagers (and unfortunately Carlsberg, which isn't the landlord's choice). Also a wide range of spirits, rather than just bog standard pub ones.
Fairly quiet when we visited on a Sat afternoon. Attentive landlord served us some nice Vale beers, and a really nice meal. I have used this pub prior to Covid-19 many times before, and is my goto pub in Aylesbury. Covid Safety was taken seriously, and both my wife and I felt perfectly safe. Thank y
