Brilliant Chinese. All the dishes I have had are fresh and brilliant I highly recommend the hot and sour soup although some others have chicken, beef, shrimp and veg in it double 8 only put chicken and veg in the soup but has an amazing flavour
Friendly staff, cheap compared to other takeaways, I had duck in plum sauce, it was ok but a bit dull. I shall try another dish next time as there is plenty of choice. They are cash only so be prepared for that!
I have eaten from here 3 times now & each time has been bang on, foods lovely & friendly staff
Enjoyed what I ordered, only waited 10 minutes after ordering from the counter. Recommended.
Used for the 1st time in years, & the meal-for-2 was amazing! I rang to order, & it was ready when I went in 20minutes later. Took cash...as I'd heard they don't take cards, but forgot to ask if that's true. Can't fault the service, or the food...it was all worth 5 stars!

As ever, food excellent & good value. Social distancing measures for takeaway work very well. New canopy outside very welcome during wet weather. Seems like new owners have smoothed the Saturday night rush. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

In all the years we have used Double Eight, we have never had a problem. The food has always been hot and delicious. They even cater for my sons likes and dislikes and allow me to order with various changes. The portions are huge and last us 2 days which is a bonus! Will always use Double Eight,
