Had a fantastic meal here last Sunday, with my family including young children with us, the food was fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for you to make sure your experience was tip top. Highly recommend if you are in in Aylesbury but if not definitely worth to visit, especially if going to the theatre as it's right opposite. Great food, lots of choice,
beautiful interior design.
Food was lovely and the valentine's set menu was a great idea.
The fact the seating is split in to multiple smaller rooms gives it a very cozy feel while there, which is added to by the relaxed music.
Will happily be back in the future!
Great self service with amazing options, for food and drinks as well
Peaceful atmosphere at lunchtime. Lovely food served very prettily. Good place for quiet meal or large party. Interesting rooms and decorations. Try their special tea with flowers in it. Well worth a visit, but not cheap.
Delicious sushi and main meals. Staff were out of this world: Cameron, Filip, Ovi and Dillon make the dream team. Great drinks too, food a little pricey but varied and full of vegetarian and vegan options. Lovely atmosphere. Would recommend to book in advance for weekends at the Japanese.
Wonderful little gem in Ayelsbury, we arrived just as the kitchen was closing and staff were happy to accommodate. Food was phenomenal 6stars. Atmosphere was social, quite a few groups. Food was very reasonably priced, I'd of certainly paid a lot more for the quality I received.
Looking forward to going back again as soon as im in the area.
My girlfriend and I visited here as we both love Japanese food, we weren't let down. The food was plentiful, the service was welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious, a new favourite of ours.

Amazing experience. Food are great. Staff are very accommodating. Worth it.
Go and eat!!!!
Not from the area but randomly searched this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, was definitely not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and decorated well, pleasantly surprised with the selection at the bar which was filled with top shelf spirits including Yamazaki and Blue Label to mention a few.
The quality of the fish was great, sushi was extremely tasty and fresh. For main course I tried the salmon once again extremely fresh and very good.
Would highly recommend and would visit if ever in the area again.
A nice restaurant with good sushi however it is expensive. The chairs were uncomfortable as we were put on a high table.
The venue is gorgeous and has many interesting rooms, including a japanese tearoom I managed to have a sneaky look at because it was not occupied at that moment, and beautiful art on the walls. The food was absolutely wonderful and mid price range so £40-£50 for three courses and soft drinks, service charge included. Only minimal complaint was cheap feeling / looking chopsticks that splintered slightly when opened.
Food was really good here, both had the sirloin steak which was a little overcooked for us but still tasty, tako sashimi was amazing and so was the beef tataki (although still a little overcooked for my liking) staff were really friendly and great but a little slow however it was quite busy when we went. It is expensive and the portions are quite small, plus having to actually pay for the rice/noodles with your main is a little disappointing but it was a nice experience
High quality fish. What more need I say? If you like sushi and aren't afraid to pay a fair price then you should go to Miya. So far, my favourite restaurant in Aylesbury.
Particular highlights worth trying are the duck and mango purée rolls and the Miya special with mozzerella, which works surprisingly well. The decor is lovely and my partner and I look forward to trying the teppanyaki bar in the future. Friends have since been and loved it.
Beautiful food!! We are lucky enough to be able to eat out a lot so it's rare to come across flavours that you have never tasted or equally familiar flavours just done better!
Everything was a taste sensation, the duck rice rolls and melt in the mouth gyoza were a highlight.
Amazing place! We will be returning to try more of the menu.
It is also really good value as the portions are very generous, we ended up taking a doggy bag home.
Unfortunately I didn't take any photos as I just wanted to devour the food!!!!
Delicious sushi! The menu does look a bit expensive, but the portions are generous and make for a great shared dining experience. The wakame seaweed salad is one of my favourite dishes. We tend to get a few rolls, some sashimi, and a rice and noodle dish to bulk it out. We all left very full and satisfied. We dined as a trio, and the bill came to around £85 (no alcohol).
