Stayed for one night. The room was really really cool (stayed in the room with the upstairs bathroom and stand-alone bath). Tip though - don’t book that room if uncomfortable with essentially having no bathroom door to block any sound! The bed linen was very comfy. Staff were lovely and friendly too. It’s a shame about the recent flooding and kitchen and beer pump situation, and it would’ve been nice to have been given a heads up on that, but overall our dinner and breakfast was nice and we had a good stay.

Outstanding Pub in Aylesbury Words cannot describe how amazing the staff were here as well as the exceptionally high quality of food. We came for my 51st birthday and it was a magical memorable affair. Service was fantastic everyone was so attentive and wonderful. I have nothing but great things to say about this establishment and can’t wait to return. Great work by everyone should get 6 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great, friendly and attentive staff The food was hot and tasty. I was somewhat disappointed that, for the price, there were only 2 chicken wings (split into four pieces). The main course was tasty but didn't match the menu description and this was quickly addressed by the staff. Atmosphere - with only another two folk in the area, it was quiet.

Had a family party here on a Sunday afternoon, party of about 25 of us. We all ordered food before the date. The food was all served at the same time and was really good. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. The place is really nice and clean, I loved the the use of wood of the tables and bar, really inviting and homely. The whole place was really nice, not too busy and the garden was available to have a smoke or enjoy your drink. Would I recommend…. Absolutely!! If you need to organise a family party then this is definitely at the top of your list to visit and consider. Thanks to all the staff for giving us a memorable day, I know we all enjoyed ourselves at our sister’s (cough) 60th birthday. By the way there was parsnips on the plate in the picture (yuk), so had already passed them to my wife’s plate before the picture. 😄

The rooms are very unusual with the shower in our room . Lots of hot water, clean, comfortable and everything you require. The staff are very friendly. We only ate breakfast which was good except the bacon was chewy. The scrambled eggs the best I've had in a restaurant but needed more toast which was provided when asked for.

This entire venue is stunning with quirky, tastful decor. The room we stayed in was gorgeous, full of character and very clean. The copper bath tub was an absolute delight! The food was amazing value, well presented and delicious. The wine selection was varied and good quality. The staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient I would love to stay again, wonderful place!

Good food and a lovely refreshing lemonade, good vibe and great staff, and free parking when visiting, but do be aware the hotel is not accountable if anything happens to your car, there's different rooms here, just be aware that if you are tall and happen to get a room with low ceilings, be careful. They have a pub and a lovely garden at the back, vegetarian and non alcoholic drinks are also available.
