Great food and superb service. We had a large party of 12, the waiting staff were extremely attentive, we didn't have to wait for food or drinks. One of our party has to eat gluten free, and even though they only have gluten free desserts on the menu, they made her a special gluten free meal to her liking. They specialise in steaks, and all of the steaks that came out were huge and cooked to everyone's liking, with more than one of our party saying it was the best steak they'd ever eaten. All of the food was superb. A special thank you to Loretta, who's funny, warm, and attentive demeanor, made our friends 50th birthday that extra bit special. I would thorougly recommend The Grill, it is definitely a little hidden gem in Aylesbury!!!
We went here for the first time today OMG it was so good! If you are into your steak you must go here it blows everywhere else we have been to locally completely out of the water! Everything was lovely plus the steaks were massive so we took some home, our dog was super happy! I honestly cannot rate this place highly enough, best food & best service in town We will definitely be back
My husband and I had a meal at The Grill last night to celebrate Valentine's day, as usual a warm welcome from the staff in there and the food was served up warm and as requested. We have been many times and always enjoy our food bearing in mind my Husband is one fussy eater, he says they do the best rib-eye around. My lobster tails were spot on.
Third time me and my husband have been, this time we were in the new location. Staff are friendly, food is delicious!!! Can't fault the owner at all for what he's trying to build here. Yea there seems to be bad reviews about the service and the food but after speaking to him every time we've eaten here, he has some great ideas about what to do with the place and trying to build a great place to eat which you don't find in Aylesbury town centre. Ignore the negative reviews and try it yourself, hopefully you won't be disappointed!

Amazing atmosphere and food was delicious. The food arrived promptly and my fiance and I were stuffed after our mixed grill starter but had to taste the steak which was yummy too. Can't wait to go back!!!
I had the lobster tails with Wasabi butter... absolutely delicious! As always, the chef went above and beyond to ensure the food was exceptional. Very friendly attentive staff.
My only criticism... perhaps slightly more pricey than it should be.
Will be visiting again and would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful anniversary meal here. Staff we attentive and accommodating to our needs and the portions were enormous! I wholeheartedly enjoyed the whole meal the steak was super scrummy. We most definitely will be returning!
Loved it. Great restaurant, excellent food and brilliant service. Visited this evening to celebrate our friends engagement and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. I booked online and left a message requesting a bottle of prosecco on arrival - and sure enough, walking up to our table there was a bottle on ice waiting. Husband described his steak as "outstanding". Would definitely recommend and will return.
Lovely anniversary meal. Fantastic steaks, great flavour and cooked perfectly which is quite rare (pun!), yummy chips & onion rings, delicious crunchy toffee pun, great atmosphere and really good service too. Will be returning! Thank you �

As per usual the food & service here is simply astonishing. A lot of negative reviews here and it would seem as if people come here to pick on the manager and not really bother with talking about what made their experience bad in any particular manner! Best in Buckinghamshire. Period. Succulent steaks. Meat lovers perfection. Would definitely recommend this over & over.

Brilliant. Took my son there Saturday lunchtime. The steak was fantastic. I had ribeye and my son fillet both cooked excellently.
The steak and mixed grill is very nice! The house sauce is so delicious and the bbq glaze is also very delicious. Been a few times, will definitely go again. Customer service really good. Really respectful towards people with allergies (cooked some food separately) :).
This place was absolutely fantastic. Although a little on the pricy side, I’d say it’s definitely worth it. The steaks were cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The chips and the starters were very nice too. The absolute standout thing though was the house sauce that went with the steak. This was absolutely delicious and genuinely unique. The staff were very friendly too. I’d recommend the merlot if you’re looking for a good bottle of wine. I’d definitely come back here, and it’s certainly one of the best restaurants in Aylesbury.
Exceptional food along with very reasonable prices, i would usually order a steak but with the surprising variety of mains to choose from i decided to go with a mixed grill and was not disappointed in the slightest, the only part of my experience i would not mark as five stars is table service as i found the staff to not to ask often enough for more drinks as our glasses were empty! I even asked for a drink and the waitress completely forgot! But apart from that still a five star experience and more than happy to return soon.
Very good food (I'd recommend the steak and the lobster) Little bit pricey but the food justifies it and it isn't as expensive as similar places.
The decor and general ambience is really lovely, kind of dark and candlelit so it's romantic, great for a date.
The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is very cosy and comfortable, and the outside area is really nice too!
Somewhere I shall definitely continue to return to.
This was my 2nd time at this restaurant. On arrival we didn't have reservations but were quickly seated. It was not busy. We were 2 adults and one child. We had a look at the menu and ordered our foods. We adult had bottom less drinks. The food was good. Good portions apart from the starter of king prawns. I found it overpriced for what it was (4 prawns). You could not really taste the so call garlic and herbs. I ended up ordering the prawns cocktail. We should have gone for that from the start. More value for money on it. And tastier. So I def recommend the prawns cocktail for started it can also be easily shared by 2. My chicken was well cooked, and my friend stake was cooked well too. My kid enjoyed her burger and chips and had a ice cream in the end. Which wasn't too bad. Service was ok. No issues on payment. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. It would be nice if the kids many had something to keep the kids entertained. But I would otherwise say that is as family friendly restaurant.
Very lovely good, great looking interior and great food quality. Got the rib eye steak with mushroom sauce, 9/10 very good! Would recommend. Picture of receipt also to give you an idea of cost for these meals.
It is expensive and probably not the sort of place you could go to regularly, but it is now my go-to place for special occasions! Great food, great cocktails. Been twice now and it’s been super enjoyable both times.
The steak was brilliant. And what a plus that it's grass fed meat from a local farm! The glaze on the meat was fantastic and the sauces (I tried blue cheese and peppercorn) were stunning. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is due to the salad that came with the meal. It was like something you'd get with a cheap takeaway and looked exactly like Tescos 59p 'Sweet & Crunchy Salad' lol. Maybe a lettuce wedge or some rocket / babyleaf salad would have been better. Anyway, the restaurant looks good, the furniture and decor is high end and it was overall a good experience and would recommend.

Food can come out a bit rushed when it's the weekend and the restaurant is busy. Booking can be a bit of a let down. I've called up and booked for a certain time. When I show up they say nothing has been booked even after taking a name and a contact number. Tried telling them I literally rang 2 hours ago. This has happened twice now.

We turned up without having booked and were seated promptly. Food was tasty and well presented. The chocolate fudge cake is lovely as well. Very good burgers at a reasonable price.
The Grill Steakhouse in Aylesbury is unique in that it happens to be, as far as we know, the only premium, gourmet (emphasis on the previous two nouns) steakhouse in Buckinghamshire with a fully Halal food menu.

Really enjoyed this steak house. Has a british english feel to it, but 100% halal. Steak was cooked how i like it, with a smoky mash n a nice lil salad. Kids meal was a tenna but well well worth it. Wife wasnt hungry but still managed to scoff down her chicken. I say well done guys, i will see u again soon.
