I called in while waiting for a train to Exeter. Train delayed by an hour due to industrial action so my friends & I had extra time to sample some different ales. 🍻😁

Local beers on tap, comfortable seating upstairs in two rooms. Attached to the railway station, so a bit out of the centre of town. (May not be open when you’re waiting for your train!)

Over the years there have been businesses in this part of the old Station Masters house which have come and gone. All I can say is that I am glad The Ale Way has come, and sincerely hope it won't go! 4 real Ales in superb condition. They haven't much space but they deserve support from all who like
Super micropub with a really wide range of beers, incredibly welcoming staff and lovely cosy booths to sit in - we will be back!
LOVELY PLACE - great vibe - visited on Saturday afternoon- sat outside - watching the trains - great selection of local drinks - beers, wines and soft drinks
Excellent beers and lovely service, right next to the station so it breaks up a long journey easily. This is the perfect pit stop and well worth a visit

Great selection of ale and cider. Lids provided on pints to take on the train was a bonus. Cute rooms for drinking in upstairs
