Great restaurant been here a few times . Best to book as it’s booked up quickly. We booked online for Sunday roast . When we arrived it was fully booked by 3pm. Food was good
The red lion is a must, gets very busy so ring and book to be sure. That said, we did get a table without booking .. The food is very good. not too much trouble if you need to change something , very accommodating. sraff are friendy and very helpfull. i highly recommend the red lion

Popped in for a quick drink after visiting Avebury Manor and the Stones. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Avebury or even just passing through. It has to be in one of the best locations ever; plus it has its own resident ghost !!
Was very impressed by this charming village pub - my group had a lovely table by the window, which was very comfortable. Service was attentive and friendly, and the wait for the food was well worth it - I had the turkey roast and it was absolutely delicious, only rivalled by my mum's unbeatable home
What a lovely pub in the heart of Avebury. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Apparently the rooms upstairs are haunted which makes it even more fun!!!!! An ideal place to grab some food and drink after a lovely walk around a very special place. Definitely recommend
