What's not to love? Friendly staff, quality food and good ales! Not far from the Town Green Railway Station and worth visiting. NOTE: If you're thinking of driving, there's not a great deal of parking space around the back.
Lovely food lovely service great atmosphere 2 Nd visit
Friendly staff, Good food, been here on a number of occasions and each time gets better.
Quality of food excellent but not impressed that they wouldn't do a swap for the potatoes that I don't eat for some salad without charging the salad as a side and wouldn't swap braised lentils on husbands dish for potatoes without charging it as a side portion. Good menu choice for veggies and very
Great food great choice of beers lovelly place my fish pie was delicious.
New Manager doing a great. Been visiting this restaurant but never been really satisfied - kept visiting because it's local and was thrilled on Thursday to see the new manager and his team working really hard. Best night I've had in there. Well done. Food was excellent
This is the second time we've been and we really like it. Both times everyone's food has been excellent. It really is super tasty. The staff are really nice and nothing is too much trouble. I would happily recommend a visit here.
Loved my experience. Food was better than expected a little on the dear side but worth it. The kids menu was limited but great quality, id be happy eating the fish bites and fries myself. The fish bites were haddock fillet pieces in a very light crispy batter, so you know their other battered dishs
Just had another great evening at the revitalised Town Green Brasserie. This was our third visit in the last two months and the food and service keep getting better and better under new manager, Chris, and his excellent team with a special shout out for Emma who is super. Tonight was a special Asian
Fabulous food as always, the haddock and chips was outstanding. Perfectly cooked fish in light crispy batter with incredible chips, home made mushy peas and tarter sauce, what's not to like. Highly recommended relaxed eatery in Aughton.
Great meal, especially the Trout dish which was sublime. Our wonderful waiter was called Zed and he was very friendly and attentive. Great live music too. All in all a lovely night out
Small quaint village pub. Beautiful decor and fab assortment of beers and spirits. Quite a varied menu we found there to be a fantastic choice. The Brasserie is part of a chain but you could be mistake as an independent business as it's so individual. Well worth a visit.
Pleasant, low key atmosphere, attentive staff. Seafood a speciality- I had a delicately flavoured cod dish, very enjoyable. Overdid the wine which pushes up the price though!
What can I say, the staff are very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in the bar, the food is excellent just like your mum has made it, we will definitely be going back. Excellent.
Loved it, great menu and really good service. Food was very well presented and delicious. Will definitely return and recommend
