Went for my Birthday with my family, had the most gorgeous gluten free pasta dish, it's the nicest dish I've had in a long time. We all loved it, the staff are spot on and even sang happy birthday still one of my favourite places to eat with the best gluten free Menu.

Called in today for a late lunch with a friend and we each couldn't decide between two dishes so we asked the waitress if we could have half each of the two meals and this was agreed and delivered without any problem. We had the blackened cod on king prawn risotto and the lamb kofta burger on a brioche bun with fries both were absolutely delicious. As the main courses were so delicious we decided we were going to go the whole hog and have dessert and we again shared an Eton mess sundae and a lime and lemon brûlée with homemade biscuit again equally delicious. The place was lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and will return soon.

Another fantastic meal today. It is great that my Dad can choose what he wants as there are only a couple of options that have gluten in them. Brilliant gluten free menu

Absolutely fabulous place, we make the trip there from Wallasey especially for the gluten free fish and chips, had the roast dinner on Sunday after a walk along the canal with the dogs, we would highly recommend it to everyone, the food and atmosphere was fabulous and most importantly the staff make you so welcome and even bring treats round for the dogs

Called in for an early tea. Was lovely walking into the air conditioned lounge and welcomed by friendly staff. The food did not disappoint, very tasty and beautifully presented.

This place went above and beyond helping my family get seated and fed. Great service and every member of staff was very welcoming and helpful. The menu was great with classic pub food done to a high standard, every effort and option was available for our vegan, lactose intolerant family members. Children's food came out first which is a rare and pleasant treat for the adults (parents will understand that is a great help). Fully recommend this place for families or a nice evening out. Try the Fish'n'chips 😍

Another good meal at the LC. Two of us had the rump steak offer and one had the vegan burger meal. All delicious and great value. Very friendly staff. Whist we did have a bit of a wait for our meal, it didnt bother us and we fully enjoyed our evening. Delighted the LC is open again.

A consistently good pub. It's a pity that the current landlord leaves in 3 weeks. I hope that the new person maintains the high standards of food and service.

I have only been here once but it's clear they have a dedicated chef's team. I had a 12-inch chicken and ham pizza, and a bit of my mum's fries and steak burger, all of it tasted very good. Considering they only had one chef in at the time as the other 2 were sick and they had served a wake, he did so well considering the circumstances, definitely worth a visit, the manager was very polite, and they're dog friendly!

Spot on with the Covid 19 restrictions, feel very safe. Always a very warm welcome, staff very friendly nothing is to much trouble for them. Food is delicious and reasonably price smaller portions is always an option and its gluten free. It's dog friendly in the bar of which the staff will make them welcome as well. The owners and their staff are doing an excellent service at TLC 5 stars
